This had been going on for a couple months now. A certain redheaded and a certain blonde would meet up behind Pops, or they'd meet up at the Bijou and make out at the back of the cinema, sometimes when no one was looking, Cheryl would whisk Betty into an empty classroom or the janitors closet. They wouldn't have to sneak around, except Betty hadn't exactly come out to anyone yet, which Cher was totally okay with, she didn't want to rush Betty into anything.
A few months after the two lovebirds started their relationship, people started noticing the tension between them, so they decided to start interrogating the pair.
Veronica started with Betty.
"Oh, Betty! Come here!" Veronica spotted Betty coming out of an old classroom.
"Whats up V?"
"Oh, uh..Are you...I don't know...maybe...dating someone?"
"WhAaAaAtTtT?!?! NoOoOOooO!" Fear struck Betty face as she blurted out her answer.
"Pfffft! You're such a bad liar Elizabeth Cooper." Veronica laughed at her bestie's failed attempt to lie to her.
"Just tell me alreaddddyyyy." Betty looked around then she pulled Veronica into an abandoned hallway.
"Okay, so I've kind of been dating someone for a couple months now..."
"Omg B! Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Uh I don't know, V. I guess it's just I haven't actually come out to anyone yet. Not even my parents.."
"Oh that's totally okay B! Don't rush into anything that you aren't ready for. Now tell me, who's the lucky man that gets to date the Elizabeth Cooper hmm?" Veronica asked Betty very eagerly.
"Well you see.....it isn't a guy.." Betty didn't know how to tell her best friend of 3 years that she was gay.
Veronica's mouth dropped, Betty hug her head in shame thinking that V was going to attack her.
"Oh. My. God." "That's AMAZING Betty!" The raven haired girl lifted the other girl's chin so their eyes met.
"What? I-I thought you'd be disappointed in my choices?" The green eyed girl stood there, dumbfounded by Veronica Lodge's statement.
"Betty, of course I'm not! How could I be?" "Now, again, who's the lucky girl that gets to date you?" Veronica giggled.
"Well..." "You see.." "It's.." Betty hesitated for a bit, not wanting to expose her relationship.
"Oh come on B! Spit it out!"
"Cheryl Blossom."
As if on queue, the cherry bombshell her self walked through the door.
"Bettykins! I thought I'd find you here." Cheryl smiled at Betty, with a genuine smile that Veronica had never seen before. When Veronica went to say something Cheryl engulfed Betty in a soft but passionate kiss, not knowing that V was there Cheryl hoisted Betty up onto the desk. Betty didn't resist even though she knew Ronnie was in the room. When Elizabeth could finally get a breath she pointed behind her lover.
"Oh my god! Veronica!" Cheryl squealed.
"Hi Cher~" Veronica smirked and giggled at Cheryl going red. "It's okay, B here told me."
"Oh! Okay...." The HBIC looked back at her perfect girl next door, a mischievous smirk grew on her face. She then turned to face V. "Well in that case...shoo Veronica!"
"What? Why?" Veronica looked confused.
"No questions! Now shoo!" Ordered Cheryl.
"Okay then. I guess I'll talk later B! Love you!" V hollered as she walked out the door.
"Bye, love you V!" Betty watched as her best friend left the room.
"Now. Where were we, hmm?" Cheryl teased kissing Betty.
The blonde girl giggled wrapping her legs around Cheryl's torso. "God I love you Cher."
"I love you more, babe."
Meanwhile, Veronica was standing outside all along, watching the two lovebirds. She was happy that Betty had found someone that she truly loved, though a little part of her always thought that she might be the one herself.
