ASHLEY'S POV:
When we got to the TC house I felt so happy. I wasn't nervous anymore. I had Mitch without a doubt.
"Hey Jerome, just head inside I got her bags," said Mitch.
"You sure? She has a lot of them," responded Jerome.
"Yeah it's fine," he said, a strange smile on his face.
"K buddy," said Jerome walking into the house.
As soon as he left, I knew Mitch was dying to ask me something. So, I said,"Are you ok Mitch?"
"Yeah..umm.. I'm fine. Let's just get your bags and head inside. It's getting late," he said, seeming anxious.
"Yeah we should get in," I said, feeling let down, but I immediately shook it off and grabbed a bag. Mitch grabbed the rest and we walked down the sidewalk to the house in silence.
Right before I was about to open the door, Mitch grabbed me and kissed me. At first I pulled away and looked at him strangely, but then I kissed him back. I could tell he was shocked because he had a huge grin on his face. I knew that he loved me, and I loved him.
Just then, we heard the door opening and I quickly pulled away. There we were standing in the dark, and even if it was for a split second, someone saw us kissing. And it was Adam.
"We thought we heard something out here. You guys okay?" Adam said chuckling.
"Yeah...uh..," I said, trying to play it off. "Mitch had something in his teeth a and I was just...uhh... helping him? I said seeing if Adam would buy it.
"Uhuh," he said still chuckling. "Well anyways you guys should get inside. Your gonna ruin it."
"Ruin what?" I asked.
"You'll see,"said Mitch as he ushered me in the door.
Just then, people jumped out from all places and shouted,"SURPRISE!!".
Alesa walked up to me and hugged me right off. "Welcome to the TC house!" She said smiling.
"Thank you guys! I love you all!" I said, realizing that they had thrown me a welcoming party.
Alesa and Mitch then took my bags and set them up on the steps.
"Why don't you go and catch up with everybody and then well get you settled in," said Mitch.
"Yeah ok," I said, starting to walk around the humongous living room towards the groups of people. Then I noticed someone special. "It's icky Vicky!" I said running up and hugging Vik.
"It's Ashley Mariee!" He said, hugging me back.
"How did you get here?" I asked.
"They invited a few extras," he said smiling.
"I'm happy to see you Vik," I said hugging him again.
"I'm happy to see you to, Ashley," he said. "You should go around and talk to more people. This is for you, so go have fun," he said walking towards the area I suppose was the kitchen.
I walked around for about an hour or so. I caught up with people, exchanged what has been happening, and just, well, I had fun for the first time in a while. Then I ran into Mitch.
"Hey Ash," he said. "I think we should go get you settled in upstairs,".
"Yeah guys I'll be right back if you can stand being away from me for that long," I said dramatically to Jason and Ty.
"Just go," they said laughing.
MITCH'S POV:
"So Ash," I said leading her up the semi-spiraled staircase. I could tell she was trying to take everything in so I waited a minute before I started to talk again. "I have your bags in the hall here, so we can take them to the bedroom you want," I said leading her down the hall of bedrooms.
"Ok.....," she said, clearly anxious about something. "But I was wondering if I could stay with you?" She said blushing.
At first I didn't know what to say. I felt like an idiot for just standing there staring at her so I quickly said "Umm yeah that's.. Uhhhh.. That's fine,".
"Thanks. Can I have help moving my bags?"she said, still embarrassed.
"Of course," I said dragging her bags down to the end of the hall to my room. I opened the door and pulled her bags in. "I only have one bed though," I said quite stupidly.
"I think that's okay," she said smiling.
I smiled back and asked,"Do you want me to leave you to unpack or something?",putting her bags on my unmade bed.
"No," she said walking to the door.
"Ok," I said. I wasn't going to question it. But then, all of a sudden, she shut the door and pushed me against it.
She put her arms around my neck and whispered," I love you, Mitch,".
"I love you to, Ashley," I whispered back, putting my arms around her waist and pulling her towards me.
Then she kissed me. I felt like I was on top of the world. Until I heard a knock on the door.
"What room did she take Mitch?" Said a voice while opening the door. It was Vik.
"Oh," he said, seeing her standing there. "I just needed to talk to her for a moment," he said.
