ASHLEY'S POV:
Tonight we were going to go out and have fun and tomorrow Ian was coming home. There was going to be a party. I mean, everything was going right. I just had to tell Mitch the bad news, but that could wait.

After doing my makeup at Mitch's desk, I walked down the hall to Adam's room to Alesa.

I was still wrapped in my blanket, tripping down the hall in my high-heeled shoes.

I walked about four doors down and laid a light knock on the door.

"It's open," called Alesa.

I opened the door and walked in, closing it behind me.

"Hello," I said, dropping the blanket on the floor.

Alesa was sitting at the huge mirrored desk in the corner of the room, fixing her hair. She turned around when she heard my voice.

"You look. Wow. Oh my god. You're beautiful," she said, brushing her hair to the side with her hands.

"Why thank you," I said, spinning in a circle. "You look quite amazing yourself,". I gave her a smile.

"Oh I know," she said, putting her hands on her hips and giving me a huge smile.

"Your funny," I said, collapsing into a chair and taking off my shoes.

"These things are literally gonna end up killing me," I said.

"I would suggest just being naturally tall, but you know," she said laughing.

"Anyways," I said, rolling my eyes,"We have to leave in 5 minutes,".

"I came to see if you were ready yet or needed help with anything," I said, walking over to her walk in closet.

"I think I'm ready to go. I just need to find my purse. I haven't seen that thing in a while," she said, starting to rummage through a pile of junk in the corner.

"Can I borrow a jacket?" I asked, opening the closet.

"Yeah go ahead. Just not the white jean one. I'm wearing that," she answered, standing up with a purple clutch in her hand.

"Gotcha,". I started to slide through the clothes on the rack.

I came across a few jackets, but I ended up choosing a black leather cropped jacket.

I pulled it over my shoulders and slid the closet door shut.

"How do I look?" I said, turning towards her. She had her white jean jacket pulled over her pink and purple dress.

"Amazing as usual," she said, walking me towards the door. We stepped into the hall and closed the door behind us. We were gonna go down the stairs and wait for everyone else for a few minutes.

"Wait a second," I said. "I need my shoes," I chuckled.

MITCH'S POV:
I was nervous. I have no idea why, but the thought of going out with Ashley just made my heart pound. And to be honest, I loved the feeling.

I walked down the beautifully detailed staircase of the TC house to find a gathering of people int he living room. They were all waiting on me.

"Awww there's Mitch!" Jerome said. "I guess we can go now?"

Everyone cheered.

"We all know who we are going with, so go to your assigned cars and we will head out," he said as people began filing out the door.

Just then, I felt two small hands fall on my shoulders.

"Howdy," Ashley's voice spoke in my ear.

I turned around and let my mouth drop.

Ashley looked absolutely stunning, her purply hair in loose curls, her makeup on point (omg yesssss), and her outfit. But, I have to admit, her smile pulled it all together.

"You like what you see?" she asked, grabbing my hand.

"Yes!" I said, letting a huge smile come across my face.

I moved my hand along her hip and in the fold of her little black dress.

"Umm guys?" Jerome said from the door. Everyone has already made it outside.

"Oh sorry!" Ashley said, pulling me by the arm over the white tilled floors and to the door.

We made it outside to the group of people.

"We should make it there in under a half an hour, so we'll meet up in the parking lot. See ya later guys," said Jerome as he began walking to his sleek black car.

Ashley, Louise, and I followed Jerome into the car.

Jerome opened the door for Louise before climbing I got he drivers seat. I, being my normally stupid self (no Mitch is not stupid, stop writing your hate comment, just stahp) , I climbed into the backseat without even acknowledging Ashley.

She seemed a little displeased that I didn't open her door for her as Jerome did for Louise, but she immediately shook it off and climbed in the other side.

After all of the doors were shut, Jerome cranked on the heater and turned on the radio.

Viva La Vida by Coldplay (yassssss) quietly played as we drove in the warm car, Ashley pressed up against me, squeezing my hand.

Everything was so peaceful. Amazingly peaceful. Louise was on her phone, Jerome humming to the music and carefully driving, Ashley bouncing her knee.

I loved that moment, where everything seemed so perfect. That was, until the semi came out of no where.
