MITCH'S POV:
Feet were stomping up the stairs and down the hallway, right past my room.
-IM SO PISSED UGHH WATTPAD WHAT IS WITH THESE SPACES BETWEEN LINES!!!-
I looked out into the hall to see a line of ppl walking into Ian's room. I guess today was cleaning day.
I walked out into the hall and followed them into Ian's room.
"Wassup guys?" I asked, standing in the doorway.
"Ian'll be home on Saturday, so we gonz make his room all snazzy like," answered Jerome.
"Sounds good," I said as I heard the front door opening, bringing in more people to join the cleaning party.
More feet pounded up the stairs and to the room, led by Adam.
He looked super official with a clipboard in hand, serious about this.
"Listen up everyone!" He yelled, silencing the room. "Ian'll be home in three days. We should take today to clean up his room, and then I was thinking we could plan a huge party?".
Everyone cheered at the mention of a party.
"So. Here's how this could work. Can we have Louise and Alesa outside on the balcony. Plant some flowers. Make it purdy. We need to carry some heavy boxes so Mitch, Jason, and I will take care of them. Ashley can help take the things from the boxes to the rooms in which they belong. Some furniture needs to be taken out because we have the new furniture for him in the storage room. Vik and Jerome can take care of that. The rest of you we need on cleaning. This place is dirtier than the basement. We clear?" He finished, getting "yeahs" from the crowd of people.
"Then let's get started," he said as everyone went their separate directions in the room.
Adam, Jason, and I started to grab the boxes. They were extremely heavy. We went to set them out in the hall for Ashley to go through.
Jerome and Vik were startling to move the bed, heading toward the door.
We slid past them and went to get more boxes. We were almost to the door when Vik gave a huff of frustration.
"It won't fit out, either way it's turned. It's not going through the door," Vik said, frustrated.
"There's no other way Vik," Jerome said, mad as well.
"We could take it apart," Vik said.
"That would take to long. And I don't think we have the right tools," he replied.
The door way was completely blocked and the boxes were getting heavy.
Adam, trying to help, suggested something very strange.
"We could round up some guys and throw it off the balcony. I mean, we don't need it anymore. We'll throw it off and deal with it later," he said, setting his box down on the brown carpet.
"It could work," Jerome said.
"Okay. Let's get, umm, Mitch, Quentin, Ty, you, me, and Vik," he said, walking over and helping them slide the bed toward the balcony.
"Hey Quentin! Hey Ty!" I yelled."We need you here for a minute!".
They came over and I explained what we were gonna do.
"If this is Adam's plan we're gonna fuck this up somehow," said Ty jokingly, running his hand through his hair.
"I know," I said laughing.
We walked over to the balcony. I helped the girls move the patio chairs inside along with the table.
"Are we ready?" Ty asked.
We were all positioned around the bed, ready to pick it up and throw it.
Nods of approval went a round everyone.
"On three, we pick if up and balance it on the railing," instructed Vik."1...2...3!" He said. The bed lifted into the air, quickly being steadied on the railing.
"Push!" Adam yelled, as we threw the bed off the balcony.
We were expecting it to hit the driveway and then be done with it, to go on cleaning. But it didn't make the sound of hitting off concrete. It hit off of metal and glass. A car alarm sounded.
"OH MY GOD!"yelled Adam.
I looked over the railing. The bed had fell right on top of my new car.
"HAD ANYBODY NOT THOUGHT TO LOOK AND SEE IF THEIR WERE CARS IN THE DRIVE WAY BEFORE WE DID THIS?" I yelled.
The other people in the room ran over, hearing the comotion.
"What happened?" They asked.
"Uhhh. We uhhh. We hurt Mitch's car," said Ty.
I held my head in my hands and leaned on the railing.
"I'll pay for it Mitch," said Adam.
I felt as if it was my fault. "Nahh Adam. It was a mistake. We don't have time to worry about it now. Let's just get back to work,".
"Okay," he said. I knew that he felt bad.
"Don't worry about it, Adam," I said.
"Let's just get back to work," he replied.
We all went back to our jobs, still clearly shocked about the incident.
I abandoned the boxes for a minute and helped the girls get the furniture off the balcony.
I went in the hall to check on Ash before I got started with the boxes again.
"You should go look off the balcony," I said, offering a weak smile.
ASHLEY'S POV:
We had finished in Ian's room for the day. It looked amazing. We all love Ian and we wanted to do the best best we could for him.
We had about an hour before dinner, so, everyone went downstairs to the living room so that we could plan Ian's party.
"Okay," Adam started. "Who's going to go pick him up at the Airport?".
"Me and Mitch and Jerome could," I volunteered.
"Sounds good," said Mitch and Jerome.
"The rest of us will do last minute arrangements when they leave to pick him up," said Adam.
"What time is gonna be picked up?" Asked Ty.
"It's a late flight in, so were gonna leave at about six thirty to meet him when his plane lands at seven," answered Jerome.
"I think we could start to set up at five after dinner," said Alesa.
Everyone murmured in agreement.
"I'll go get some party food and drinks tomorrow with anyone else who wants to come," offered Adam.
"One more thing," put in Ty. "What are we gonna do about Mitch's car?" He chuckled.
