Chapter 6 - She has arrived...

I felt so warm that I didn't want to get out of bed, I slowly open my eyes and see Tommy snuggled into my chest, I can't help but smile. I hear a knock on my bedroom door and remember James had slept over last night. 

"James?" I call out.

The door slowly opens and foot steps approach my bed. I look and there he is my brother standing at the bottom of my bed with his arms folded across his chest and a little shadow standing behind him pops out and Lidia stands there chuckling at the sight of Tommy sleeping soundly.

I jump up and am  wide awake. 

"Morris?! Lidia?!" I say shocked.

"Do you know what time it is?" Morris asks with a grumpy expression.

I begin to panic thinking I'm late and look at my alarm clock, it reads seven-thirty. I look back at Morris and he starts to crack a smile.

Lidia shuffles passed Morris and excuses her self as she sits on the edge of my bed and leans in to gently shake Tommy.

"Thomas.. Thomas baby, its time to get up" she says in a soft voice.

Tommy sits up and rubs his eyes, as his vision becomes clear he sees Lidia.

"Mummy!!" he squeals and jumps up and hugs her.

"I'm here too son" Morris says holding his arms open waiting for a hug.

Tommy looks at Morris and suddnely becomes excited, he jumps out of the bed and darts towards Morris.

Morris squats down waiting for his hug only to notice that Tommy runs passed him and into the lounge room. Morris' smile drops, Lidia and I giggle. We follow Tommy out to the lounge room.

Tommy calls out.

"Jay?!" he yells, standing in the middle of the lounge room looking around. 

James opens the bathroom door and is wiping his hands with a hand towel.

"Hey there! Good morning little buddy!" he says with a smile as he whisks the hand towel onto his shoulder. 

Tommy runs and jumps, James catches Tommy and holsters him up onto his hip. They both of giggle. 

 A frightening aura was surrounding Morris. Lidia and I look at each other and quickly shift our attention to Morris whom is glaring at me with fire in his eyes.

"What is he doing here?" he asks grinding his teeth.

I sigh and lean against my bedroom door frame.

"Bro, are you seriously getting jealous?" I say watching the little vain in his neck pop. Morris flies into a rage

"I ASKED YOU WHAT HE IS DOING HERE?!" He yells pointing at James.

James and Tommy get startled by Morris.

Tommy cries out with a frightened look on his face.

"Daddy?.." 

I straighten up and look Morris dead in the eyes. 

"Let me tell you something bro. This is my home, I can have whomever I want over, especially my boyfriend. So what Tommy is attached to James, they've become buddies now big whoop. You can either deal with it or get the hell out!" I respond aggressively. 

Morris backsoff and is surprised that I answered him. Morris tries to speak but Lidia cuts him off.

"So this is why you wanted to come here early and break into her appartment, did she really give you a key or were you lying because you knew that this man would be here with her?" She says with an unimpressed look.
