Yeonjun walked over to his desk, he noticed everyone whispering hoping he wouldn't hear but he did. He heard the girls whisper about the boy he'd sit next to for the rest of the year. When he heard those things said, and girls offering him to sit next to them, he wanted to figure what was wrong with the boy. Little did he know he was about to meet his dream friend that he thought was fake.

Soobin looked away from the boy walking over to him, he heard the whispers, but could he really care? It was nearly music to his ears now. He heard it every day since he came to this school. Soobin didn't enjoy the music, but he was forced to listen to it, so he learned to shut himself out. He let out a small sigh looking out the window. He didn't care about today.

The lesson passed by, and another passed too, it was break by the time Soobin brought himself together once again. He went to the rooftop, not looking, his phone in hand, scrolling through countless songs on his playlist. He pulled out his headphones out of his pocket before stepping out to the rooftop. He plugged them into his phone and sat down right by the edge of the roof, his legs hanging over. Soobin moved his head lightly as 'I need somebody' played. He sang along loosing track of time. He didn't pay attention anymore, singing was the one thing that made him free apart from his dreams. He'd let his tears fall but he was scared, scared of someone finding out. He'd have Yeonjun to talk to anyway.

"Why am I alone? I need somebody left alone now, I need somebody now." His sweet voice filled the empty space around him. Yeonjun smiled as he heard the boy singing, he didn't want to show himself in case the boy stopped singing or got scared. Yeonjun didn't get it, why a boy like him would have bad things spoken about him. Yeonjun smiled to himself before leaving the rooftop.

Soobin could hear the not so silent sound of footsteps leaving the rooftop. He looked down, someone heard his horrible singing, but he put a smile on his face, Yeonjun loved his singing and he knew it. As Yeonjun came into his mind, he remembered the new student, he had the same name as Yeonjun and looked like him, but Yeonjun was just Soobin's imagination. Yeonjun wasn't real, even if he felt real to Soobin.
