(Master Splinter)
So there I stood peaking out through the drain outlet, surrounded by the few friends and MANY foes that my pupils and adopted sons have collected over the years.
Every fiber of within my rodent being on edge. I still could not believe my son's had roped me into this hare brained and not to mention dangerous scheme. I was surrounded by enemies, they flanked me on either side, And the few allies I did have on the side of good didn't exactly give me perfect piece of mind either.
"Look at them out there, smashing things and making a mess. It's not right!" Exclaimed Bebop
"I feel exactly the same, Nobody gets to destroy this town but us!" Replied Rocksteady.
"I'll second that." Growled the Rat King
"Here Here!" Agreed Don Turtelli. It appeared the villains were united in this belief. It wasn't the sort of motivation that is typical of an earth defending army, but it was motivation never the less. I'll take it.
"Filthy law breakers...." I heard the masked vigilante, Casey Jones mumble under his breath.
"On my mark we flood the streets. Now listen closely my unlikely comrades, what these soulless mechanisms may have in numbers, we have In brute force. They are not very strong or nimble, but they do have stun rays so watch out for those." I began to speak "We are going to form several human walls..." I started to explain but was cut off by about two thirds of the crowd clearing their throats suggestively. "Oh, forgive me. Human, mutant and alien walls, and run down these metallic invaders, drive them into central park and destroy them."
"Bzzz-but there has got to be-bzzz- over two thousand of them-bzzz- and less then a hundred-bzzz- of us." Buzzed the mutated fly, Baxter Stockman.
"A valid observation Dr Stockman." I spoke directly to him. "But you see, These Machines fight for nothing, we do. We are fighting for our home. This planet to them is nothing but another notch on Lord Dreggs belt to them. But this is OUR planet, our place in the universe, our home. And a person who fights for something is already a hundred times braver then those who do not. Listen well, you often do not know how strong you really are, until being strong is your only choice. It's time to choose."
"Besides..." I chuckled. "Hasn't anyone ever told you it's not size that matters..."
We flooded the streets, humans and mutants pouring out of every manhole cover in the area. We had the element of surprise. The sounds of metal clanking and laser fire filled the air.
"Watch what you are firing at, there are still people in those buildings!" I Shouted at Several of Pinky Mcfingers goons. "Drive them back, herd them into the park, there are no civilians in there!" I shouted whist whacking the head of a robot with my cane.
Looking up, I couldn't believe it was actually working. The white hunks of metal were actually being forced back. Inch by inch, step by step. The commotion, as I had hoped, had caused the rest of the robots that were scattered throughout the city to converse on us! Coming right to us.
"Oh come on you overgrown unicorn, you hit like a girl!" teased Attilla the Frog to Rocksteady as they stood side by side fighting a large cluster of robots.
"Hit like a girl do I?" Snorted the Rhino. "Watch this!" He said, picking up a car and hurling it at the robots, smashing them against the wall of the nearby hair salon.
"Nice one!" Cheered Mondo Gecko approvingly. "I retract my previous statements." Chuckled the Frog.
I sighed in relief as my bare feet touched the grass of central park. The Hard part was over, we had herded the remaining robots into the park. Taking out at least a quarter on the way here. I glanced around, my army of misfits was already tiring and the battle had just begun.
