"stop being an asshole Jai, I think we need to take a break" it all made sense to me. He was pissed because Ashlee had broken up with him. "Luke"I called out. He walked over and read the text, laughing at the whole situation. I walked over to the table and got to work.
*1 hour later*
"finally!" I yelled, throwing by binder on the floor. "yup" Luke replied. "wanna hang out or watch a movie?" I asked. "no thanks I gotta get home and deal with my homework" Luke responded, putting his things In his backpack. "oh yeah, I'm sorry" I smiled and so did Luke, leaving my house. I was all alone now fuck.
i looked at Jai's phone. How hard could his password be? He's pretty simple... "hmmmm" i typed in 1234 and it unlocked. Damn he's more simple than i thought. I looked through his texts to Ashlee, most of them were him calling her sexy or cute or gorgeous like damn get a room. Well.then again, i was snooping.
*the next day at school*
"Gomez, Brooks, your paper" Mrs Schaff stated. Jai gave me an evil look. i walked over to her desk and set it in her hands. i sat in my seat and Jai through a paper at me. i opened it. "you better have put my name on it" Who did he think he was. i balled the paper up and threw it at his face. "Ms. Gomez, go to the principals office this instance." Mrs. Schaff yelled, pointing towards the door. Jai laughed. I gathered my stuff and made my way over to the door. "What has gotten into you?.you were my best student." Mrs. Schaff scolded me. I walked down the hallway, slowly. Luke passed by me."Hey where you going?" He asked. "Principal's office " i sighed. Luke laughed. "well im on my way there to, so lets go " Luke and i walked to the office i entered the cold room of Mr. Presley, the principal. "Hmmm, Hailey, odd finding you here, unless its on a good note ".He lifted his glasses. "Actually, no stupid Jai was messing with me " i muttered. "Jai? would this be the all-too well known Jai Brooks?" I nodded my head.
Jai had a reputation of being a 'bad boy' at the.school. All the guys either hated him or wanted to be his bestfriend and all the girls wanted him. i for one, was not the type to like guys like that, assholes to be completley honest. "Well, its your first offense so i'll let it slide ,.and to be.honest, that boy does need a paper ball thrown at his head once in a while. " Mr. Presley laughed. i thanked him and walked out, catching Luke talking to a pretty girl.
I smiled at him, he was leaning against a.counter, smiling that adorable dorky smile. He.didn't seem to notice me. My heart hurt a little, maybe.it was the way.he looked because it couldn't be the fact.that he's talking to that girl. It couldn't be. "Oh Hailey!" Luke called over to me. i walked over to him.."this is Michelle, she's.new here.and i was hoping you.could show her around when you get the chance." She was prettier than i thought. She had wavy straight hair with.crystal blue eyes. "yeah thatd be fine " i.smiled, turning away and leaving. My heart hurt more. Why? No it cant be him. its probably nothing.
