What The Town Was Like

I don't think I ever tried to imagine what Allegra would look like. So far it had reflected what my town looked like, but the city looked completely different to what I was seeing then. The place with filled with werid looking shops that were glowing with weird mist, the people wore regular clothes but every once in a while you could spot someone wearing body fitted gear that looked like leather. There was an ice cream shop made of ice and snow, a little girl was chasing a kitten by trying to burst gusts of wind at it, some shady looking people in red gear were huddled outside another shop which could have been a book shop. Every shop had some sort of colour coded brand or symbol on it. Tracy looked like she was bursting with questions but we didn't dare say anything to Sienna. "We'll explain everything once we reach the big house," Sienna clarified. We walked in silence and after taking a few turns we reached the big house. I have to say... I was slightly disappointed. It was a regular looking house with an unusually blue coloured door.
"This is the Big house? It doesn't look very big". Sienna rolled her eyes at me. She placed her two fingertips on the door above the knob and began making a intricate patterns of magic that glowed fiery red. The door clicked and swung open. Walking through the doorway, we stepped into a courtyard. Apparently the big house was hidden. Go figure. The courtyard was medium sized and had walls on three sides with the actual entrance to the big house at one end opposite to us. I looked back but the door behind us had vanished, or maybe it never existed. I wasn't sure about anything at this point. There were a few people in casual clothes having sandwiches on benches and talking amongst each other.
"Only people with official business or permits can enter here so all the people you will see here either work in the big house, are heads of Allegra or are here for questioning," Sienna told us. "I wonder which we are,"mumbled Tracy. And then we were at the big house. The waiting room slash reception area slash first room was impecibly modern looking and stylish in a simple way. Tracy spoke to the receptionist in a green outfit and then lead us up the large spiral staircase in the middle of the room. On the second floor, there was a long corridor with carpeting and pictures of geared people along the walls. We walked up to the entrance of an office where at the desk sat a middle aged woman in a grey suit with hair pulled up tightly in a bun. She had clean fair features, wide deep blue eyes and a commanding superior countenance. My eyes swept over the other people there. They seemed to be having a meeting about something. There was a young girl in a deep purple trench coat with jet black hair, gator skin and Asian looking eyes. There was also a muscular man with dark skin, buzz cut hair with a tattoo on his upper arm. There was an old man wearing a tan orange cloak with a staff and long grey hair. There were two other people there who were wearing similar gear but it was then that I noticed Dale. I stood there with my mouth gaping, staring at him unable to say anything. He wore gear like the rest of them but it was blue, fitting his frame perfectly. "Dale?" I said, clearly stumped.
"I knew it! Kind of." said Tracy. Well "I guess you have a little more to discuss about than I anticipated" said Sienna with a smirk.
