The Entrance To Allegra

The next day was off to a rough start. Sienna decided it would be funny to wake us up at four in the morning with the excuse that we had to get there early. I mean, she was probably right though. As I dressed up, while listening to Tracy's humming (she was already making breakfast), Sienna walked in carrying an old looking trunk.
Asking the most apparent question I said, "what's in the trunk?"
"Well, you certainly cannot enter the city of Allegra or even leave this hideout without any sort of armor."
She dumped the contents onto the floor, displaying an array of different training suits. After suiting up, we left.
After walking five minuets away, Sienna said,
" Okay so now it's time to teach you the most basic rule. It is not permitted to enter Allegra without either being invited, or living there. Also, it is almost impossible to enter the city without knowing how to do this simple spell which is the first one we teach our trainees at the age of 4." She glared at us. Hey we weren't too happy about being late recruits either.
Surveying my surroundings, we were entering a cave. A dark, dingy cave. Great. I'm claustrophobic. Thankfully, the cave didn't go too far in and i managed to hold my breath. Glancing around, Tracy's eyes had gone wide with wonder. I saw that she was looking at Sienna standing in front of what I presumed to be the veil, and my eyes became wide too. The veil looked like an airy fabric of swirling mist. It looked like....magic. Its hard to think that a few hours ago I would never in my wildest dreams have believed in magic.
"Ummm, now what?" I mumbled. Sienna's eyes were closed and she moved her hands around. "We step through", she said.
Shrugging, Tracy walked straight through and just as I was about to object, Sienna dragged me through after her.

Coughing, stumbling and staggering, we got up from the floor of...a warehouse? A barn? Even Sienna seemed clueless as to where we were. "Strange" she said, "we haven't managed to reached Allegra quite yet. We were supposed to be transported directly in front of the big house at the centre. But we have somehow landed outside the main city, in the pact forest, the now abandoned headquarters of...."
She glanced at us, as if trying to conceal something." We have got a long way to go. We must travel the remainder of the way by foot. It might take a while."
So we set of out of the empty abandoned warehouse, through the forest till it cleared to form a path. Walking along, we passed through fields and a little gate. I kept thinking to myself, that the place looked so much like the western countryside on the other side of the city. I had been there once with my parents to volunteer at an autumn fair. Sienna was right the veil reflected our world. I started to think about how our world was connected to another dimension. Did other worlds exist? If so then did other dimensions exist? Just when It felt like my brain would explode, Sienna announced that we had reached. I noticed the way in which she announced the arrival professional. The entrance was nothing special. No creepers and climbers over a massive sign and no decorated signals to show that there was anything special about the place.
The path from that point was lined with bluebells. Tracy stepped forward but Sienna held us back. She closed here eyes and a circlet appeared around her head after the yellow gem on it had turned transparent, she stepped through and holding up her hand, beckoned for us to follow. "What would have happened if you hadn't done all that magic thingy with the crown and all?" Tracy asked motioned as she asked expressively. Sienna, without looking back, kicked up a branch and flung it back through the passway. It was singed to a crisp and floated away as ash." That" she said curtly.
I could hear Tracy gulp as I wondered what I had gotten myself into.
