Leo's POV
After we land on the ground, campers come rushing to us.
"Bye, Selena, I'll see you on your birthday" Apollo smiles, and with a flash of light he's gone.
Dani clings to my side nervously.
"Why are you nervous?" I ask
"I don't know" she sighs
Chiron comes to us," Great job, you completed the quest in record time, about three days"
Selena smiles," Well we had a great leader"
Chiron smiles and sees Georgia, "Who's this?"
"She's a halfblood we found" I say
A shimmery image of an owl appears over Georgia's head.
"Daughter of Athena" Chiron announces.
Annabeth pushes through the crowd, "Hi, Georgia, I'm Annabeth"
Georgia is whisked off and the crowd follows.
"I'm gonna go take a nap" Selena yawns, and jogs to the Apollo cabin.
Leaving only Chiron, Dani and I standing around.
"Thank you for helping, the world is not in danger for now'' Chiron winks and walks away.
Dani chuckles," All this end of the world stuff seems like a joke now"
"Sometimes it's hard to believe three teenagers can "save" the world." I laugh
Dani wraps her arms around my neck, and kisses me.
I'm taken by surprise, but kiss her back.
She breaks away, and presses her forehead against mine.
Yes, she's about the same size as me.
It's not funny.
"I like you a lot" she whispers," and I'm sorry"
"I like you too, a lot" I whisper back," I'm sorry too"
I hold Dani's hand, and we walk to the beach the sun setting in the distance.
