The Letter

Twilight's p.o.v (point of view)

"Twilight..."

What was that?

"Twilight..."

Okay now it's just annoying.

"TWILIGHT!!!" yelled Spike.

"WHAT!?!" I yelled back, not feeling like opening my eyes.

"A letter from the Princess!"said Spike.

My eyes flew open and I shot up straight in bed, my tiredness evaporating. "THE PRINCESS! WHEN DID IT GET HERE!"

"Oh, it came an hour ago-" Spike began

"WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME!!??" I boomed at Spike. He cowered down and quickly stammered, "You just looked so peaceful I just didn't want to wake you!"

I quickly got up and started pacing. "It could have been an emergency Spike! Where is the letter!?!" I said staring him down.

"It's uh right here!" he said taking it out from behind his back.I quickly picked up with my magic and started reading it. Hoping it wasn't an emergency.

"Dear Twilight Sparkle,

    I send with a new spell I want you to try. Sorry for being brief but I have some unfinished business here in Canterlot.

         

                                                                                        Princess Celestia"

I looked down at the rest of the letter and looked over the spell.

What in the world?

"Hmm... well Spike..." I began as I read the spell.

"What, what is it?" he exlaimed.

"She wants me to turn an flower into a cupcake."

"Well, that will be easy, considering your magic skills! Ha ha! can't believe you were worried about THAT!" laughed Spike as I put the letter in my saddle bag. "You'll probably put Mr. and Mrs. Cake out of business!"

 

"Oh Spike you have to much faith in me!" I teased Spike as we walked out the door of the library. I was a gorgeous day. There were no clouds in the sky at all.

"Wow, Rainbow Dash must of gotten up early and cleared the sky already!" I exclaimed as we headed to the meadow near Fluttershy's house.

"Ummm... not to burst your bubble or anything Twilight but... it's lunch time." said Spike.

"Oh. Then that cupcake will be a good snack then." I said. my stomach answered with a loud rumble.

"Can I have some?" said Spike while licking his lips.

"Sure Spik-"

"Can you put gems on my piece! Pleeaaseee!" interrupted Spike.

"Fine Spike." I said with a sigh.

I never will understand why dragons eat gems.

"Yes!"

We walked up to Fluttershy's house and knocked on the door.

"Hello Twilight, what brings you here today?" said Fluttershy.

"I was wondering if you wanted to watch me try an new spell in the meadow. I am turning a flower into a cupcake." I replied.

"Sure Twilight. Can I have a cupcake t-"

"Did somebody say cupcake!!!" interrupted Pinkie Pie. "Cause I LOVE cupcakes! Oh oh oh! Can I have a cupcake to? Pleeeeassssee!!!!! Can I! Can I! Can I!"

She made the saddest face she could make and stared at me. I rolled my eyes and said, "Fine Pinkie you can ha-"

"My cupcake has to be pink with pink sprinkles!!" said Pinkie Pie. Just then Rainbow Dash landed next to Pinkie Pie.

"Hey guys, whatcha doin'? said Rainbow Dash.

"Well I was just telling Twilight how I want my cupcake to look! We're having a cupcake PARTY!"said Pinkie Pie mater a factly.

"Hey, how come you didn't invite ME!" said Rainbow pointing an accusing hoof at me.

"OH OH OH! Let's go get Rarity and Applejack and bring them to the cupcake party!!" yelled Pinkie Pie.

"Oh, ALRIGHT." I said.

"YAAAAAAAAYYYY!!!! Let's go GET EM!!!" screamed Pinkie Pie at the top of her lungs.

"Okay I will go get Rarity and you-" I pointed at Rainbow Dash. "-get Apple Jack." Rainbow Dash nodded and took of leaving a rainbow in her path.

"What will I do?" questioned Pinkie Pie while tilting her head to one side.

"Uhhh...you can uhhh... go find a patch in the meadow for us!" I turned to Fluttershy."You can go with her Fluttershy."

"Okie dokie lokie!" said Pinkie Pie. She bounced of into the meadow with Fluttershy flying behind her.

"Spike you can come with me to get Rarity." I said to him. "Is that ok with you?"

Hearts appeared in Spike's eyes and he said dreamily, "How do my scales look? Are they shiny enough for Rarity?"

"Oh Spike." I said with a smile.
