My Little Pony: Deception

The Cause

Celestia's p.o.v.

I opened my eyes to the glaring sunlight.

That's strange, I thought I closed that curtain.

I stretched my long white legs over the side of my bed. I was about to put my crown on when I heard a pony scream. It was Luna. I hurriedly put on my crown and flew out of the room. I rushed towards Luna's room. I saw the crescent moon on her door. Luna painted it when she was very little.

We laughed as she smeared grey paint over the wood face of the moon. She was using her mouth to hold the brush, since she was not very talented with her horn yet.

I quickly disregaded the memory and opened her door, careful to make sure the cherished moon didn't break.

When I stepped inside, I gasped. The room was a mess. The curtains were on the floor in tatters. Luna's vanity had fallen to the floor, the mirror shattered. Then I saw Luna.

She was laying on the floor. Her wings and legs were bound by green rope. Luna was covered in bruises, her left foreleg bleeding. Her mane and tail were all tangled, she looked up at me. Her eyes looked faded, somehow.

Before I could begin to comprehend all this, two burly unicorn guards tackled me, and pinned me to the ground.

“Hey! Wh-" I was surprised by the quickness of the guards. They used their horns and tied rope around my legs and wings. But, they forgot my allicorn magic. My horn started to glow a furious orange, my face had a look of pure hatred painted over it.

Before my spell could leave my horn, the guards put the same metal casing on my horn. As soon as it touched it felt like fire, yet somehow, I could feel my power draining. I layed lifeless on the floor. I managed to speak.

“What are you going to do with us?" I barely choked out. The orb floated towards me, laughing.

“Ah, Celestia.... we had some fun times didn't we?" It sneered at me. I snorted. “Well, I am going to take all the power draining from your horns, and use it to regain my full power, and rebuild my army."

No! She can't do THAT! But how would I stop her? I am losing my magic and lying on the floor. But I-

“In twenty minutes," It announced, "Your power will be drained into the metal encasing, and I shall take your power." It looked at me and sneered, "And now we wait."

20 long power-draining minutes later....

I felt like I was going to die, but I wasn't. I was just that weak.

The orb barked at the guards, still standing by the door.

“Get the encasings now!"The guards hurriedly ran over to Luna. One took out a key, while the other pinned Luna down. There really was no point in holding her down, she was passed out.  The guard with the key jammed the key under the encasing at the base of Luna's head. The casing started to glow Luna's magical aura, and it fell off her horn. The guard pointlessly pinning Luna down picked up the encasing. The orb yelled at him to bring it to it. He hurriedly put it on top of the orb, like a party hat. It would have been funny if I wasn't powerless and lying on the floor.

The casing was still glowing blue, but it was slowly draining into the orb. Once all the power had been drained, the casing fell to the floor with a clatter.

Long, black legs and eventually a body, sprouted from the orb. You could barely see the allicorn, if you looked hard enough you could, but just a glance, and she was a shadow.

“Go! get the last casing!" The guards hurriedly ran to me. I didn't put up a fight when the guard pinned me down. They took off my casing and placed it over the mare's horn. I watched my orange magic drain onto her horn. She started to glow an iridescent green. Her body took shape.

Her black hole ridden legs, and her see through wings took full affect. Her eyes were an iridescent green, with a line in the middle, like a reptile. She walked over to the open window, her green hair flowing in the cool breeze.

Still looking outside, Queen Chrysalis said, “Well Celestia." She turned to me and sneered.

“Ready to watch your kingdom fall?"
