Twilight's p.o.v.

I knocked on Rarity's door.

"What, WHAT!!" yelled a flustered Rarity as she opened the door. Her hair was all messy and she only had makeup on one eye. Her expression softened when she realized it was me.

"Oh, it's only you Twilight. Sorry I have been SO busy with Sweetie Belle and my parents here. I have been so stressed out!!" said Rarity. Just then Sweetie Belle's head popped out beside Rarity. She was balancing a plate on her back with black chips on it.

"Rarity! You still haven't tried my pancakes yet!" whined Sweetie Belle. Then she looked at Spike and I."Oh, hi Twilight! Would you like a pancake?" she said walking outside with her plate.

"I'll pass. I am making cupcakes, so I want to save room." I said, not wanting anything to do with those burnt pancakes.

"Not even a bite?" begged Sweetie Belle. I considered my rumbling stomach and decided to take a risk. Before I could answer Rarity chimed in,

"Oh Twilight I'm sure you would love these pancakes!" said Rarity with a mischievous glint in her eye."In fact, Twilight and I will share one." Then she used her magic to pick up one and shoved it in my face when I opened my mouth to argue. I had decided that my stomach could wait too late.

The pancake went in my mouth and I braced myself for the taste. It was so burnt it dissolved to powder in my mouth. It felt like I was swallowing sand. I

"Do you like it?" said Sweetie Belle.

Deciding to take revenge on Rarity, I said, "It's great! Try it Rarity!" and using my own magic, when Rarity opened her mouth to protest I shoved it in her mouth. Her face got all twisted up as she tried not to spit it out. I saw her swallow.

"So do you like it?" repeated Sweetie Belle, a questioning look on her face.

Rarity replied, her throat still dry from the powder pancake, "Why, it is simply delightful!"she continued, "Now Twilight, not to be rude or anything, but what are you here for?" she said when Sweetie Belle went back inside.

“Oh, I am here to invite you to a cupcake party out in the meadow by Fluttershy's house. Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and possibly Applejack will be there. It would be really great if you could come, but it's ok if can't because of family business." I said.

"Oh, of course I can come!" said Rarity. Then motioning to her hair and her make up she said, “If  you could wait just a moment I am going to finish my hair and makeup ok? Ok." Then she rushed back inside.

“Isn't she something?" said Spike dreamily. I jumped because I forgot he was there, then I rolled my eyes. Oh, Spike.

My stomach rumbled how long does it take to do your hair? Maybe I,ll just make one cupcake till Rarity's done. I used my magic to open the saddle bag and take out the letter.

“What are you doing Twilight?" said Spike.

“I'm just going to make one cupcake till she's done." I said.

“But Twilight! You must wait! I left my gem sprinkles with Pinkie!" yelled Spike.

“Oh, alright!" I said, putting the letter back in my saddle bags. “If only Rarity would hurry up!"

“Did someone say my name?" said Rarity coming opening the door. She was wearing beautiful blue and aqua dress with gold gems decorating it.

“Wow Rarity, you look beautiful! Even more than usual!" said Spike. And for once I had to agree with him. She looked absolutely stunning! How the light perfectly glinted off the gems. The blue and aqua revealing hidden sparkles.

“Why, thank you Spike for the flattering comment! Now we should be off! Those cupcakes won't make themselves!" said Rarity. And with that we left. On the way there I showed Rarity the spell and asked what kind of cupcake she would like.

“Well, how about a vanilla cupcake with purple, sparkly, peanut butter icing." said Rarity. “And a cherry on top!"

“Ok, Rarity. Anything for a friend." I said through gritted teeth.
