So it turns out I have all of my classes with Noah, which is not so ideal. It was lunch so I went to my locker and to sit down in front of it. Even the idea of the cafe terrifies me.
"Sorry.." I say as someone kicks my leg.
"Watch where you're going dick head" Someone yelled to the person that kicked me. I look up and it's Noah, of course. I roll my eyes so hard I had hoped I would disappear in the back of my head with them. He frowned at me and as he sat down in front of the locker beside me
"Don't let people walk all over you" He sat down "Literally" He stated afterwards.
"Why are you here? Don't you have friends to sit with?" As soon as those words came out of my mouth I regretted them. I had sounded like a bitch. "Sorry" I apologized again.
'"It's fine but to answer your questions I'm here because you look lonely and yes I have lots of friends" I nodded
"I like your purple hair by the way" he smiled at me.
"Really? You do?" I smiled back at him actually looking at him this time while talking to him.
"Yeah totally I have a friend that does cool things to his hair"
Just as he said that two boys conveniently came running down the hall. One with a curly mop for hair and the other fire engine red messy hair.
"Noah!" the curly headed boy yelled and tripped falling on top of Noah.
"Holden, get off of me" He grunted and pushed him to the floor. I let out a quiet giggle but quickly covered my mouth.
"Aiden, Holden this is my friend Emma" Noah introduced me and I waved.
"Hey" they responded at the same time. The bell rang and it was time for the third period.
The rest of the day was fine I guess. I grabbed my skateboard and left the school. I heard heavy footsteps so I turned and saw a guy running behind me.I moved with the intentions to let him pass but instead, he slowed down.
"Hey, it's Emma right?" He asked me
"Yeah it is"
"I'm Logan we have first and third period together" I nodded in response and slowly kept going.
"It looks like we are heading in the same direction, would you be okay if we hang out until our paths split?"
"I don't see why not" I responded out loud to him yet in my head I was freaking out slightly. Hopefully, we won't be together much longer. I stopped skating and decided I would walk with Logan the rest of the way.
