*fast forward to the summertime*

Ever since that night at my house the eight of us haven't been separable. Logan and Sadie have started dating and Holden has gone on a few dates with Leah. I'm pretty sure that Aiden likes Lynn but everyone else swears he likes me, not that I'd really complain if he did Aiden is a good guy I just don't feel that way about him. That leaves Noah, who is dating someone so far from our normal circle it's not even funny. Noah likes Sydney and I don't blame him; she's perfect. She's a new addition to our group because she just transferred schools and not unlike when I was new Noah decided to make friends with her. Sydney has been following Noah around for the last two months and I feel like I'm the only one it's bothering.

"Ouch!" I yelled looking up from my book. I had been staring down at a book when a ball hit me in the head.

"Oops sorry" Sydney giggled running over with her boobs almost hitting her face. I just glared at her and chucked the ball back.

"Emma come join us in the water!!" Lynn screamed from the river. I have a forest behind my house and one night Aiden and I came out here to explore. We found a wide clearing with a river running down the middle of it. The clearing has now become our spot were we come almost every day and hang out with each other. I put my copy of Shakespeare's play Hamlet down and made my way over to the water.

"Come on" Leah tried to help encourage me into the river. I took my cover-up dress off and jumped in. A few minutes later the girls and I decided to play a prank of Logan.

"Hey, Logan?" I got his attention. He turned around and swam over to Lynn and I. "We bet you don't have the balls to skinny dip" Lynn told him.

Without saying anything else and he reached down and took off his swim trunks. What he didn't know was that Sadie was waiting to grab them. She was the fastest swimmer on the girls swim team so he didn't have a chance to catch up with her after realizing what was happening. She took them onto shore and ran away with the rest of his clothes as well.

"Well Lynn I don't know about you but I'm done swimming" she agreed with me and we got out leaving Logan naked and alone floating in the water.

"Noah pass me the ball" I heard Sydney whine. I was drying myself off with a towel and trying to block her out as much as possible.

"Noah, can I have a hug?" I stood at the side of where they were playing and asked him. I suddenly wasn't feeling well and his hugs have a strange way of making me feel better. He jogged over to where I was standing and wrapped his arms around me. That was a feeling I could totally get used to.
