"Bye Mom love you!" I yelled out the door. I closed the door and went to sit on the couch to wait for Noah and his friends to come over. I literally just sat down when someone knocked on the door. I walked back over and looked through the little hole to see Noah smiling at the door.

Noah: I'm here come open the door

I looked down at my phone and read the text that I had received.

Emma: Okay coming

I turned off my phone and stared at the blank screen for what felt like only a couple of seconds. What finally brought me back to reality again was my phone's ring tone. Noah was calling me so I picked up.

"Hey, are you okay?" Noah's voice came through the phone.

"Yeah totally!" That came out way more excited then it should have.

"Emma its been like 5 minutes please let me in, it's just you and I the others went back to the car" I nodded even if he couldn't see me and opened the door. As soon as I did strong arms were wrapped around me.

"What's wrong?" I could hear the worry in his voice and I didn't like it. He doesn't need to worry about me.

"I'm fine," I said quietly into his chest. I felt myself holding onto his shirt almost if I didn't want to let go.

"I'm going to let them in now okay?"

I nodded in reply. It's now or never right? I feel like never probably isn't even an option at this point. He opened the door and called to his friend. I hide behind the door and his tall stature as they flooded into my house.

"Where's Emma?" I heard Holden question.

"She went upstairs to check on her sister" he replied and I smiled.

"They're gone now" he turned around and smiled at me.

"I actually do need to check on my sister" I walked up the stairs and heard him following.

After about 30 minutes of Noah playing horse, reading and singing to Clara we finally made our way downstairs as I had remembered that there are strangers in my house and I probably shouldn't leave them unattended. I so wish I had stayed upstairs.
