-couple years later-
Hoseok POV
Today is the day. The day I'm finally going to propose to Y/N. We've been dating for so long, ever since high school. We've had some fights here and there, but they would last a day or 5 minutes (depending on what it was about)
People have tried to flirt with me and Y/N, but our bond was stronger than ever
I had everything all planned out. She was going to come over to my house (which will soon be OUR house), Jin will cook us dinner, we'll go upstairs to hang out, I'll leave the room to prepare the ring, then Jimin will stick his small hands through my bedroom door to slide a note saying "Come to the balcony"
She'll walk out the room, clueless on which balcony to go to because our house is hella big
There will be a walk path of roses leading to the balcony, where I will be standing there, waiting for her, and then I propose
I've practiced this many times, and now.. I think I'm ready
Y/N POV
I'm getting ready to eat at Hoseok's house since Jin is cooking something special this evening. I'm always excited to go to their because something special or exciting always happens (well, besides Jin's cooking)
I got dressed in a white summer dress, a cardigan to wear over my dress and some slip-ons
-few minutes later-
Dad: Y/N! Hoseok is here!
Y/N: Oh, coming!
I quickly grabbed my phone, which was plugged in my charger and shoved it in my handbag as I rushed downstairs only to meet Hoseok's beautiful face
Hoseok: Hi Y/N! Come on!
Y/N: Ok, bye Dad! Tell Mom and Jennie I'm gone
Dad: Will do! Bye!
-at Hoseok's house-
Y/N: Wow, this looks so fancy! What's the special occasion for?
Hoseok: Oh nothing, just thought I'd change things up a bit
He chuckled at the end of his sentence, but I thought nothing of it
Y/N: So should I get the foo-
Jin: Here they areee~
Jin came in the kitchen holding two plates, one with spaghetti and one with rice, salmon and a salad on the side
Y/N: Oh wow, thank you-
Jin: Oh no, there's more food
He whistled and in came Jungkook and Jimin holding a salad, fries and a jug of water. They set it on the table in front of us as my mouth waters
Y/N: And who's going to finish all this food if we don't?
Hoseok: The others will. They've been trying to take a bite out of one of these all day. I know it's not much, but-
Y/N: Hoseok, thank you. This is perfect, okay?
He smiled at me, and nodded
Hoseok: Okay
Jin: aHeM. Enough chit chatter. Eat my children
And so we did
-few minutes later-
Hoseok POV
Hoseok: I thought you said you wouldn't finish all this...
I started at Y/N as she finished her last spoonful of rice and a handful of fries. Even with all that food, she still looks beautiful
Y/N: No, I said WHO would eat it if we couldn't finish it
I chuckled. I knew I wanted to marry this woman
Hoseok: Hey um, Y/N?
Y/N: Yeah?
Hoseok: Come follow me
I got up from my seat, grabbed her hand and took her upstairs to my room
Hoseok: Stay
I left her alone in the room as I dashed to find Jimin
Hoseok: Jimin? Jimin-shi? WHERE ARE YOU?
Namjoon: Aish stop screaming
He scolded from across the hall
Hoseok: Where's Jimin?
Namjoon: He got a last minute call from his part time job, someone called in sick and he's the only one that could do it. He told me to tell you but I kinda forgot until now.. yah
Hoseok: AISH! Okay, new plan
Y/N POV
I wondered what he was planning, did he get me a surprise? Are we going on vacation? The anticipation was killing me
A few minutes passed by and in came Seokjin
Jin: He's waiting for you over by the balcony in my room
I nodded and thanked him as I headed the direction. As I entered the room, it was filled with rose petals leading over to the opening of the balcony. I saw from there Hoseok, standing holding a bouquet of flowers looking quite nervous
I approached him, immediately asking:
Y/N: What's this all about?
Hoseok POV
Phew, I'm ready.
Hoseok: Y-Y/N, you've been there f-for me a-ll my life a-and...
Gosh why am I stuttering?
She looked quite confused, so I just blurted it out in a panic
Hoseok: YNwouldyoumakemethehappiestmanandmarrymeplease?
Y/N POV
My eyes widened in shock but soon filled with tears of happiness. Gosh I was so oblivious
Y/N: Yes of course!
I embraced him in utter joy as he pulled me head up and kissed my forehead
Hoseok: Not really what I planned, but hey it worked!
He laughed and I pulled him in for a kiss. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man...
