*After a few days of no text from Colby, you would text him first but you dont have his number. You start to think that maybe hes not interested anymore. Every guy has fucked you over and they've always been players. Your a little bit glad cause you didnt wanna tell him everything about you. You don't want him to know your secret. Your not ashamed of it but you don't know how he'd react or even he'd even still like you. Days go by, almost 2 weeks and you've finally started to forget about Colby. You continue your days like nothing even happened. You go to the beach to listen to music and draw, a few hours into your drawing.. you get a text. Thinking it's your mom but all it says is "hey" from a number you dont know, your confused. You decide to text back "hey"*
Colby: "its Colby.. I'm so sorry I haven't texted you sooner. I've been so busy with work. Do you wanna meet up? I'd like to see you"
You: "I guess.. I'm at the beach"
*approximately 45 minutes later, he taps your shoulder and you take your ear buds out*
Colby: "you come here often?"
You: "yeah, I do"
*You shake your head and he sits beside you*
Colby: "look, I'm sorry.. that was a really dick move and not a good first impression"
You: "seriously, your ok. I'm just glad you didnt leave me hanging. What did you wanna talk about?"
Colby: "first, I wanna explain why I haven't texted you sooner.. I am a youtuber. That's my job and I've been busy working on things for a channel I share with my best friend and also my personal channel. I've been doing some traveling, filming, editing.. that's what I've been doing and I apologize"
*You smile with appreciation*
You: "ok. I thank you for being honest with me"
Colby: "so your not mad at me?"
You: "no. I did start to think maybe you weren't interested in my friendship anymore"
Colby: "oh heck.. I still wanna get to know you. I mean, look at you. Why wouldn't I?"
You: "your.. very nice"
Colby: "you uh.. wanna go somewhere"
*Colby holds out his hand. You smile and grab his hand*
You: "sure"
*You guys walk to his car*
Colby: "so, tell me about yourself? I see you like to draw and your very talented"
You: "thank you. Um.. it's my therapeutic activity I guess. I've been drawing since I was little and it's become a hobbie"
Colby: "do you draw a lot?"
You: "yes. Quite often. When I come to the beach, I draw and listen to music. I get into like this zone, ya know?"
Colby: "I usually just chill in my room at night and isolate myself"
*he laughs at himself. You guys finally get to his car and he opens the door for you. You look at him with a surprising smile*
You: "wow.. I guess chivalry isnt dead"
*You get in*
Colby: "not around me"
*He closes the door and walks to his side and gets in*
Colby: "where shall we go?"
*You think for a moment*
You: "take me to your happy place"
Colby: "well I can't take you to my bed yet"
*He laughs as you roll your eyes and shake your head*
Colby: "I'm kidding. I got a spot in mind"
*He puts his seatbelt on, starts the car and leaves the beach*
You: "so your a youtuber?:
*Colby nods*
Colby: "yes ma'am. Been doing it for a few years now and its quite fun"
You: "what do you do exactly?"
Colby: "on my shared channel, I travel the world and explore abandoned or scary places with my best friend. Also, on my own channel, I can do pretty much anything but mainly I want"
You: "and you make money doing this?"
Colby: "yup. Crazy huh? I dont make a lot of money but it's enough for me to live and survive on my own. I do live in a massive house with 5 other people and 2 dogs"
You: "sounds pretty hectic"
Colby: "you can say that, yeah but I love it. I'm having gun and everyday is a blast"
You: "interesting... so uh.. where are you taking me?"
Colby: "it's a surprise"
