The most important part to songwriting: Feelings. I can't stress this enough, you have to have feelings in a song to complete it. Without feelings, it would just be a statement with music in the background. Feelings in the song also shows how to sing the song when/if you sing it. Like if you're writing "Pedals of flowers surrounds her lit up face", you wouldn't be screaming it, you'll just sing it smoothly. If you write "He approaches with words sharp as knives" you might put anger in your voice or scream it. I'm not telling you how to make your song, I'm just giving tips, you are the writer, you make the decision.
