Chapter 2: The Assembly

He got himself into a lake, but one guy saved him from drowning down there. Caleb made his way to a magical world that he doesn't know all his life and had no idea where he is. He sees people flying with broom stick and floating lamps with fireflies inside of each and every lamp in the area until then he notice the guy that saved him in the lake and thank him. The guy emerged with a wide smile to Caleb and brought out an orb and cast a magical spell that made the wind go pass him and made his clothes all dried up.

Later then...

Caleb found out that the guy's name was Jordan and greeted him with a smile and brought out his hands and postured for a handshake, Caleb was still amazed of the surroundings and confused at the same time, He tried to ask the guy about the place. But the guy knows Caleb's question before he ask it. Jordan explained all about the place and what are the things happening around and as soon as he finished the bell rang and he told Caleb to proceed to the great hall and attend the assembly for freshmen Principal Gull will be there discussing important measures.

Caleb waved goodbye, but Jordan hustle away through the bridge and to the tower where there is an emerald crystal on top.

Caleb immediately followed what Jordan said and read the signs to the great hall and while on the way to the great hall Caleb heard something crying for help along the corridor and he followed the noise to a room full of mirrors and entered it. He found a woman with a long brown hair, gorgeous face and a shiny blue eyes stuck in a magical mirror like Caleb had before. He immediately helped the woman out of the mirror. She was Liza, also a freshmen who is attending her first collage years at Highgrad (the name of the school). Caleb ask her if she would like to go with him to the assembly, but she looks like to be so familiar to the place.

After she walked away Caleb went ahead to the Great hall and the assembly had started as soon as he arrived there. He looked for a chair to sit on and found one near a tall guy with a pale skin tone and black glossy hair. Caleb ask if he can take the sit beside him and the guy agreed. The guy made an introduction to him starting off by saying his name to Caleb. He was Gilbert.

After the assembly.

The Dean announce that all freshmen should proceed to their dorms before night fall. So Caleb started to search for his dorm in the dormitory area of the freshmen. Caleb heard a voice from somewhere and saw a book behind him floating in mid-air. He was shock that the book was talking to him, as Caleb is getting use to the thing he may see around this world. After the short silences the book began to talk again and asked of what he wants to find. It turns out that it is a talking guide book and it shows directions to people whenever they need them. Caleb asked the book on how to find his dorm in this gigantic place where in every hallways have doorknobs attached to each walls. And the book showed the direction by casting a direction spell that made a glowing line on the floor that he followed, but it led to a wall with a doorknob attached on it. Caleb slowly reach for the knob and his hand passed through again. Afterwards he decided to walk pass through it and saw a magnificent lounge area with a couch and a bunch of sofas placed near the fireplace. Then with a small glance he saw a familiar face near the bookshelf looking for books. Then she notice Caleb standing near the entrance, she moves near the fireplace and said a word "Embromo" which ignites the fireplace. Caleb was petrified by the amazement to what just happened in front of him.

The woman turns towards him and it was Liza from earlier. It looks like the two have the same dorm on the same year. Liza sat down at the couch and invited Caleb to sit down with her.
