After staying up until 3 in the morning trying to unpack my boxes, Nash finally left my room. I did have to argue with him and physically push him out of the room, but at least he's gone right? I guess Nash really took what his dad said to him, because we got through the rest of the day without him instulting, harassing, or attempting to hurt me. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but it was actually kind of fun. I mean maybe his dad put him in his place. A million thoughts ran through my mind as I got ready to sleep in my new bed, in my new house, with my new expanded "family". I couldn't help the smile that creeped across my face when I thought of all the time Nash and I spent laughing, and joking around. At first I was uneasy about having him there, helping me, but really, it was actually quite nice to talk to him.
The next morning, I woke up to someone shaking my body with their hand. I opened my eyes to see a shirtless Nash standing over me. "Wake up," he said. I rubbed my eyes and looked up at him. "What time is it?" I asked. Nash grabbed my phone off of my night stand and clicked the home button. He held the phone in my direction, so I could see the time. I could honestly say, I was astonished to see that it was already 12:30 in the afternoon. "There's some pancakes left over from when I made them this morning. Hurry up and get ready, though. We are going to the skate park." I sighed a little and walked into my bathroom. I brushed my long. ombré hair and pulled it into a high polytail. I managed to eat breakfast in about 10 minutes and made my way upstairs to shower. I stepped out of the shower to comb out my hair and put in a t shirt and shorts for now. I got ready within a half hour, straightening my hair and all. Now, all I needed to do was get changed. I was still in my t shirt and shorts when I heard a knock at the door. "Hold on, I'll be ready in a minute," I screamed. Before I could say anything else, or even pick out my favorite skating outfit, Nash opened the door. "Nash!" I screamed. "Calm down," he said, laughing a little. "I just needed my keys. I left them here last night." I rolled my eyes and began getting my clothes out. "Well, you could've waited two seconds." He scoffed. "Well you could've locked the door if privacy is suddenly your number 1 priority." I sighed and looked in the full legth mirror one final time before heading out the door. I was wearing light blue hight rise shorts with you gold zippers on each side and strings hanging out the bottom and a red Marvel's Avengers crop top with black Vans. "Geez, Angelina. You look perfect, let's get going already!" Nash said. Woah. Did Nash really just say that?
He probably didn't know what he was sayig, and he was probably in a rush, so I shook it off my mind and sighed. I grabbed my sunglasses on the way out and placed them on top of my head. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "Your mom and my dad took my brothers and Levi out to the beach. From our conversation last night, I know you hate the beach and I had plans to go to the skate park today, so I'm hoping the guys don't mind a trooper." I looked at him confused. "The guys?" I asked as we both entered the car. "Yeah. We're gonna meet Cam, Aaron, Matt, and Carter there. Oh. And by the way do you have a board, before I pull out?" he asked. I nodded and got out if the car to go get it. I knew exactly where it was. Right next to the door, before you walk into the house, there is a hidden door meant for all your outside stuff. I grabbed my skateboard and headed back to the car. "Wow," he said. "What?" I asked a little too giddy. "I didn't expect a skater girl out of you. I like it," he said, saying the last part with a smirk.
