The next morning I woke up super early and decided to go for a run. I threw on a black and florecent pink sports bra and black workout shorts. I sprinted out of the house and ran down the street. As I focused on my breathing, I suddenly came to a stop when I saw a shirtless Jack coming out of Melissa's house. Melissa was in my English class. She seemed like a sweet girl, but eventually we all heard rumors about her sleeping around. I saw him anxiousy walking down the walkway trying to buckle his belt. I knew what I thought, but I chose not to accept it, because maybe, just maybe Jack had a resonable explanation. I saw Jack had seen me running across the street, and be began fixing his belt even quicker. He threw his shirt over his head and called out my name. "Angelina!" I turned around, trying to act like I didn't see him before. "Hey," I said after he planted a light kiss on my cheek that sent a chill down my spine. "What are you doing out so early?" I asked trying not to sound too much like his mother. "I think I can ask you the same question," he said hesitantly. I threw my hand out in a isn't-it-obvious sort of way and he laughed a little. "Well I better get home. I hope to see you this summer." He said and entered his car before I could even respond. What was that supposed to mean? He "hopes to see me this summer"? I'm his freaking girlfriend, why would I not see him? At this point, I knew what was going on, but I just chose not to accept it and I kept my mouth shut. I didn't want to believe it, and I most certainly didn't feel like asking anymore questions.

I finished my run and entered my house to find my mother and Chad practically making out in the kitchen. I slammed the door behind me, rather loudly to emphasize the fact that I was home and saw what they had been doing. My mother immediately pushed Chad away from her and walked over to me. She placed both of her cold hands on my arms and said, "Maybe you should go to your room honey." I gave her a disgusted look. "No," I said wriggling out of her grip and crossing my arms. "Not untill you tell me what's going on. I realize you lied to me already, Mom. Don't tell me another lie to cover it up, just tell me the truth." My mom looked over at Chad and gestured him to leave so we can talk privately. Chad didn't leave completely though, he just went onto the porch and leaned down on the gate. I raised my eyebrows as a sign for her to tell me what was really going on right now. She gripped my arm once again and sat me down on the chest behind the couch. "No, Angelina, I did not meet Chad last night. We've known each other for a while. We met at the bar a few months ago, and we hung out ever since, always getting drunk. I guess last night, we must've been even more drunk because we were talking about how both of us didn't want to be alcholics, we just couldn't help it. So we started talking a little more seriously and we both really started to-" I cut her off. "Are you guys.. like together?" I asked. She looked down at her intertwined hands to avoid looking me in the eye and nodded gently. "Mom," I said. "I'm not mad at you, in fact, I'm thrilled that you found someone. The only thing I'm confused about, is why you haven't told me." My mom sighed, still not making eye contact with me. Her short hair covered up most of her mouth, but I could still vaugely see the smile that was on her face. "I didn't want to tell you untill we had found a house that we could both move into together and I was planning on doing that today." I paused for a minute trying to comprehend what she just said, causing an awkward silence between us. "Wait," I finally said. "We're moving in with them? To a new house?" She nodded again. I didn't know what to think. At first I was so happy for her, but then I realized the hell in all this, Nash Grier was going to be living in the same house as me.
