The car ride to the skate park was pretty silent until Nash bought up something that hadn't crossed my mind in days. "So how are you and Jack?" he asked. My mouth fell open in shock. "I don't even know," I said. "What do you mean?" he asked, suddenly sounding concerned. All the things about Jack came flooding back into my brain. The memories, the hugs, the kisses, and then Cam telling me what happened at the party. "Um. I think he's been cheating on me for a while, but I never actually confronted him about it," I explained trying to hold back the river of tears about to pour out of my eyes. He gave me a quick concerned look before looking back at the road and finally pulled into a spot in front of the park. "Listen, Anjelly," he began. Just him calling me that made me feel a bit better. He was the only one that has ever called me that really, even when he would insult the shit out of me. "I know he's one of my best friends, but I totally disagree with him. He shouldn't treat you, or anyone, that way. I know I came off a little mean and to be comepletely honest, I feel horrible for ever doing that and I'm sorry. But, really, you can't let him take advantage over you, okay? You have a huge heart and you don't deserve something like that." Within the last few words, Nash placed his large hand on my thigh, I was a little uncomfortable at first, but eventually I relaxed and lifted up my head. "Thanks Nash," I said, attempting to pull a small smile across my face. He gave a small smile back and exited the car. I reached into the back seat to grab my board and by the time I did, Nash was already at the passenger seat door, opening it for me. I laughed a little at the corniness, but also at the sweetness. Nash went into the trunk to grab his board and we both made our way over to the guys. We all greeted each other and when I finally got over to Shawn, I threw my arms around his neck and he lifted my petite body off of the ground. Shawn was one of my best friends and I loved him so much. "What are you doing here?" he asked, excitedly. "I came with Nash," I said. "Oh, are you guys like a thing now?" he asked. I shook my head and smiled. He came close to my ear and whispered something. "I don't think you should be here, though," he said with an uneasy look on his face. I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion. "Why? You don't think I can board?" I asked. "Well watch and learn," I said. I heard Shawn from behind me trying to call me back, but I ignored him. I entered the the half pipe and began skating. I was doing well, until a dark haired, tall, tan boy, got in my way and knocked us both down. He exhaled in pain and sighed, looking down at his knee. I looked at my knees, to make sure I wasn't scraped up too bad and finally looked up when I heard an all too familiar voice. "I am so sorry," the voice said. "Here, let me help you." I looked up at the voice in shock. No.. It couldn't be. Jack was holding his hand out for me to grab, hoping to help me up.
