prologue

i must have been gawking at him in disgust because he had a brow raised as he spoke, "repeat after me, professor pinkmon." i prayed to god that this was just another stupid thing he said to his students to break the ice, but the serious look on his face said otherwise.

letting out a nervous breath, "this was a bad idea," i whispered. his outstretched hand was floating in the air but i had no intention of shaking it, let alone call him using such an absurd name.

"i said repeat." a smirk was now forming on his handsome face, with two distractingly sexy dimples taking over his cheeks. pinkmon watched me carefully for a few more seconds and then dropped his arm. he turned away from me and grabbed the chair that was against the desk. after taking a seat, pinkmon swivelled around to face me and crossed his slender legs with one swift movement. "i won't accept any other name, so you should get used to professor pinkmon."

despite the comical name, his aura was suddenly very intimidating and i automatically found myself obeying, "professor pink...mon." as soon as the two words left my lips, they twitched in horror. i slapped my mouth in disgust, then repeated the name in a whisper. a sudden urge to burst into a fit of giggles came strong, but i pursed my lips tight and swallowed. "professor pinkmon... happy?"

he folded his arms, both his brows lifting for a second as he opened his mouth to speak, "good girl." pinkmon jumped off the chair, raising his arms to the sky with joy. the daunting atmosphere disappeared as quickly as it had come, with the man now standing before me in a giggle. "that was like music to my ears!" he cried out, a mixture of emotions all over his face.

i turned away from him in confusion to the scene that had just unfolded before me and the only thought that came to mind was,

what kind of an abomination in human form did my mother just send to me?
