Chapter 2

Ava's POV

8:23pm

I am still at the Time bureau at this hour trying to finish all the work I have. I can't, today was just a stressful and exhausting day,there were so much problems to fix, papers to sign. And let's say that Gary wasn't really helping today.
I was trying to do as fast as possible to finish all this bloody paper work so I could finally go home and crash into my bed and get some sleep, when suddenly I heard my phone buzzing, it was Sara... Oh no Sara oh my god I totally forgot she was coming over for the night bollocks! I told her that I would finish what I was doing and then I would be on my way home. I first thought she would've been mad because I forgot about her but she told me she understood and she was waiting for me,
I can't wait to see her, I've miss her, we were both really busy last week so we haven't seen each other since the incident of Mike the Spike,
I love sleeping next to her,
I love the nights when the last thing I see before I fall asleep  are her beautiful baby blue eyes, and the mornings where the first thing I have the luck of seeing are those same baby blue eyes that make me melt time and time again.
When we don't see each other for awhile the first things I usually miss about her are her breathtaking eyes, her soft lips and her strong arms wrapped around me.

About 25 minutes later I was home already. I opened the front door and said "I'm here!" Sara must be upstairs.
"I'm upstairs stay where you are I'm coming!" I heard Sara's voice coming from the stairs. Why does she wants me to stay where I am? She's weird. Less then 30 seconds later I could see Sara coming down from the stairs.
"Hiiii!" She said with a big smile, she looks as excited to see me as I am to see her. "Hi you! I said before walking towards her to steal a quick kiss from her soft lips that I've madly missed the taste of. What have you been up to?" I asked her because she looks suspect and since my girlfriend is apparently excellent at screwing things and doing messes...
She responded by "Well since I was home alone..." she better not have made a mess in my room because I'm going to kill her. "Sara Lance what have you done?" I started to stress.

And then she said she wanted to show me something upstairs, it better don't take long because I'm really exhausted and I just wanna go to bed and fall asleep in my annoying of girlfriend's arms that I love so much. She brought me in front of my bathroom door... what the hell?!
She opened the door and the first thing I saw were all the candles lighten,the roses and than the bath who was full and bubbly.
"You did all this by yourself?" I was shook but also really impressed. I can't believe she did all this so I could relax in peace, god I love this woman with all my heart.
"Of course, look take a good bath,relax, you read a bit, while you're relaxing I'll be making us dinner, we'll in front a good movie of your choice and than we'll go to bed. Does it sound good to you?" She explains her plan for the evening, but there were missing a part in all this...
"Wait before you go... there only one part of your plan I didn't really understand, where is the sex in all that?" I ask really concern but she didn't reply, she just winked and left the room. Such a tease!
After she left I went directly in the bath, I put some music on and read a great book. Sara literally thought about everything, she knows how I love to read and also listen to classic music even though she doesn't like it, she sometimes put some on just to make me happy.

When I got out of the bath I went directly into Sara and I's room to get change, I put my favourite oversized shirt on that Sara actually gave me, an old Starling City University Tee, I probably never saw Sara wearing it but I don't mind because I still thinks it smells like her, even if she keeps telling me that it's pretty impossible that it smells like her since she never really worn it but I don't care.

I went downstairs and joined Sara in the kitchen... she has ordered pizza, how surprising ahah. I help Sara bringing the pizzas boxes in our room where we eat in front of a movie. Half thru the movie I moved the pizzas boxes out of our bed because we were done.
"So how was your bath? Sara asked me.
"Really relaxing, thank you I really needed that" I thanked her for that amazing surprise.
"You're welcome my love..."
"Well anyway I was thinking you know since I got to relax because of you and your amazing surprise I thought maybe I could do the same for you and thank you with a massage... what do you think?" I said in her hear in a sensual voice.
"I think it's probably the best idea you ever got in a while my love." Sara respond, looks like I got her really excited. *wink*
"Okay perfect so stay here and get yourself ready while I get the oils massages" I ordered her and left the room to get the oils massages in the bathroom.
I came back in the room and saw my gorgeous and breathtaking girlfriend in a white robe.

"You can get that thing off and lie on the bed" I told her, and she did as I told. I put a cover over her bottom to covered it, then I took place where I had put the cover. "Are you ready for your massage miss Lance?" I asked her with a sensual voice again.
"Mmm mmm" she just moaned.

Later that same night, Sara and I had fallen asleep in each other's arms, Sara had her head on my breast and her arm around my waist while I had one arm behind her back and the other one was holding Sara's arm who was over my tummy. I woke up around 3am, unable to get back to sleep, I was simply looking at Sara who was peacefully sleeping in my arms, I tried to not move because I didn't want to wake her up she looked so peaceful.  The only thing I could think about was how even asleep she looked so beautiful, every inch of her body is beautiful, everything about her is simply beautiful. Then after I was thinking about our naked skins who are stick together and keep us harm.
I fell asleep not so long after and woke up in the morning with nobody wrapped in my arms anymore, the bed was empty, no sign of Sara. So I decided to put a robe on and go downstairs to see if Sara would be in the kitchen but no she wasn't... but than something on the kitchen island caught my eye so I got closer to see a piece of paper, a letter that Sara had left me this morning.

Good morning my love,
I'm so sorry I had to leave like a thief this early, but Gideon had called and needed me. I am extremely sorry I would've prefer to wake up with you and stay in bed and cuddle all day but you know how it is?! What would be our relationship if we didn't get interrupted all the time,huh? Anyway again I'm sorry I know how you like waking up next to me and believe me, so do I, I promise I'll make it up to you I promise.
And finally I want to let you know that yesterday was amazing and I'm looking up for another night like that.

I felt sad that she had to leave early this morning but her letter made me smile so I don't really mind. I understand that she had Captain duty.
