"Who's there"
"Really? Right after you opened the door? What if i was a thief"
"My bad, no one else would come here except you anyways"
"True. Where is Aimee?"
"She's upstairs getting ready for the BIG NIGHT" she stressed the big night for a dramatic effect
"Are you sure about this Katie?"
"I trust that you will take care of Aimee and I gave you my conditions so, sure"
"Thank you for giving her the best present she would ever ask for"
"I will always do if its for the best"
Keva flashed Katie a smile and climbed the stairs leading to Aimee's room
"Birthday girl, you're okay?"
"Aimee, are you there?" Keva asked again after 10 seconds of silence and the door gently creaked and opened slightly. Keva stepped into the room carefully and closed the door
"What's wrong, Aimee?"
"I...Its...I'm not sure about this , I'm not sure if this is what I want, I'm not ready for this?"
"If you're not ready now, when will you be ready?"
"I don't know, I feel like I wont be accepted. What if..."
"Fuck the what ifs, we are going to that party, get up girl, do you want to live in here all the days of your life, stuck behind a romance novel, with fantasies of the things you could have only if you get up and face your fear?"
"Keva,(sighs)"
"Why are you sad?" Keva replied softly with a concerned face
"I feel like I'm not pretty enough to fit in, look at me, I can't fit in, I don't belong"
Keva looked at Aimee and walked over to her, she placed her hands on her shoulders and look her in the eyes
"Aimee, I know how you feel and I know why you feel this way, you don't even check yourself out in the mirror, do you? You won't believe me if I tell you this, you have to see for yourself, Aimee, you're the most beautiful girl I've met and you are perfect, you've got your curves in the right places, you've got a blonde hair, blue eyes that change colors, long lashes, what more can a girl ask for?" Before she completed her sentence, Aimee hugged her
"Thanks Keva, that's all I need"
"Woo hooo" keva cheered and the room lightened up, Aimee started smiling
"Wtf did you do to your face, girl, you need tutorials" Keva said while wiping off Aimee's messy makeup and re-fixing it. After a 5 minute makeover, Keva took a look at Aimee's face and yayed
"You'll be the loveliest girl in the room, lets move" Aimee laughed out Loud and shook her head
"Ever the crazy best friend"
Keva led the way down the stairs and there was Aimee's mom, Katie, in the sitting room
"Katie, we're out of here"
"Alright, have fun"
"Sure, I'll make sure Aimee has the best night of her life"
Keva giggled and Katie gave a mom smile
"That does it, I reconsider, Not too much fun, please. Bye baby"
"Bye mom" Aimee replied with a smile

Keva's sleek red Fiat 124 spider which she got for her birthday was parked in front of the house. she celebrated her 17th birthday 2 months ago which makes her 1 year and 2 months older than me, I'm very sure she owns the school gosssip headline because of this, not that I know how high school works though but Keva tells me everything about it so I have an idea, we are both in our senior year, the only thing that makes us different is that the name of my high school is mommy's home school, haha, actually, we graduated already, but I still feel like school is on cos I see my teacher everyday which is my mom, haha
"Get in, or do you want me to open the door for you?" Keva said with a smile
"Of course not, I'm getting in"
Before Aimee could finally settle in,Keva started the car
"Off we go, yay" keva screamed
"What the fuck, Keva, were you planning to kill me the whole time? I almost hit my head"
"I've got you covered girly, loosen up" keva switched on the radio and tuned it till the car was filed with the bass of Nicki minajs song
"See a bitch got more coins than a game room
So we ain't ever hatin' in TheShadeRoom
See I keep my sons in a playroom
So me and you ain't ever in the same room
I tell him eat the cookie 'cause it's good for him

Keva rapped to the song till we got to the club while driving dangerously fast, I thought I'd die before we get here but
