Hitomi: Good morning.

Sayaka: What took you so long, Madoka? Hm? Wow, what cute ribbons...

Madoka: *blushing* You think so, they're not too flashy?

???: Not at all. They actually suit you.

*Madoka and the girls turn to a brown-haired girl leaning next to a tree*

Lillyan: Sorry, I'm always popping in and out of conversations like that... Ohayo, boku wa Siruba Ririan desu~

Hitomi: Wonderful greetings~ Did you just move here from another country?

Lillyan: Yeah, why?

Sayaka: *giggles* All the tourists that come here think speaking Japanese is so impressive, when really, we start learning English in 2nd grade.

Lillyan: That... explains a lot, actually... Anyways, yeah, I've always been interested in the culture here and finally got the chance to study abroad. So I'll be going to school with you guys for a while.

*setting change to homeroom, indicating new scene*

Kazuko: I have a very important issue to discuss today and I want you all to pay close attention! The correct way to fry an egg, sunny side-up or -down? C'mon, Nakazawa, I don't have all day!

Nakazawa: *stuttering* You can fry them either way, can't you?...

Kazuko: Precisely! Therefore, it goes without saying that you should never judge a woman based on the way she fries her eggs!

Lillyan: Isn't that sexist, Saotome-sama? What right is there that men  should be judged by such means?

*the teacher stares at me, flabbergasted*

Kazuko: Yes, thank you. Wait a moment, you're not in this class!

Lillyan: Sorry. I was on my way there now and I couldn't help but overhear.

Kazuko: Well, in that case, let's give a big warm welcome to our other new classmate! Come on, Miss Akemi, don't be shy~!

*Homura walks calmly into the room, writing her name in kanji on the board*

Homura: I'm Akemi Homura. It's nice to meet you.

*in the next scene, a group of girls is seen crowding around Homura's desk, asking her basic questions about her life before she transferred*

Homura: Excuse me, but I'm not feeling well... Kaname Madoka, you are  the nurse's aid for this class, correct?

*Madoka stares at Homura, confused and slightly terrified*

Madoka: H-how did-

Homura: Ms. Saotome told me that you were.

*the girls leave the room and wander around the school in the direction of the nurse's office, stopping in the middle of the skywalk*

Homura: Kaname Madoka, do you treasure the life you currently live, and do you consider your family and your friends precious?

Madoka: W-well I... Of course I do...

Homura: Then don't change. Or you'll lose everything you love...

*setting change to lunchroom, indicating new scene*

Sayaka: She said what?!

Madoka: I know, it doesn't make any sense, does it?

Lillyan: Yeah, sorry about that... Homura can be a little...
