Lillyan: Okay, what's your plan?
Kyoko: Plan?
Lillyan: To get Sayaka back.
Kyoko: Right, that's kind of why I wanted to bring that Madoka girl here. Even if Sayaka turned into a Witch, maybe she'll be able to remember the voice of a friend. Imagine if when we cut that Witch in half, instead of getting the usual Grief Seed, Sayaka's Soul Gem comes popping out of it!
Lillyan: Or... We could keep Madoka... FAR out of harm's way, defeat the Witch normally, and give the Grief Seed back to Sayaka?

Lillyan: Hear me out. If Soul Gems create Witches, maybe they still retain their original effect as Grief Seeds. If we put Oktavia's Grief Seed in Sayaka's hand, maybe she'll gasp back to life again like that night on the bridge. Plus, look at this card.
