THE WAVE .CH.3

Nani POV:

Akela was in front of me on the wave furtherest from the wave this time.The wave continued to grow and grow, The wave was enormous now and I started to loose my balance as the water had more strength gripping my bord ready to pull it under any moment,me along with it. I snapped out of my thoughts of me going under as I struggled to stay on "ya all right there Nani?" Akela mocked me "better than ever!" I yelled Back to him while I kept my balance. I glanced at my feet to make sure they weren't going to slip,water splashing my skin. The water splashing up crawling beneath my feet making it harder to stay on the bord.then within seconds my foot slipped off the side of the bord the water consuming me dragging me into a dark watery abyss.

Akela POV:

I returned to the shore and instantly started jumping around and shouting to myself "chehoooooo!" "ya haaaa!".

I looked around to see Nani wasn't on the shore with me. Haha take that Nani who's the champ now? I thought to myself. Waiting a little longer I started to grow worried not seeing any sign of her.i started looking around frantically "ok nani this isn't funny you can come out now!" I said hopeful she would emerge from behind the trees cercling the small beach, nothing.

only a few seconds passed and I saw something pop out from the water just a distance away, thinking it was Nani I emediately ran to the water I stopped reaching knee height only to see Nanis bord. in the short distance Akela saw something pop out of the water it wasn't Nani but her surf board, I reach for the board grabbing it. I pushed the board towards the water and dove under looking for her. Questions ran through my head 'did the get hurt?' 'Could she be dead?' 'Is she just hiding from me?' 'WHAT IF SHES IN THE REEF?!' I sprung from the water and bolted back down  the jungle path and and onto the sand. I got to Nanis house first throwing her board on the sand I stumbled up the steps and banged on the door

"ANA ANA it's NANI!" I screamed punching the doe with my fists. Ana walked to the door with a cereal bowl in her hands. " yeah? I know she said she be back soon on a... note.." a concerned look appeared on her face as I think she realised I was back alone. "Wewheresurfingbesidethereefandthewavewasenormous. Nani didn't come back up!" I rushed out still panting from the run here

Ana POV:

"I'll go get Taavi you go to the outskirts of the reef and wait for us." Stated Akela running down the stairs. I dropped my cereal bowel in disbelief. I sprinted down the reef and towards the reef path. Soon Akela and Tavvi where hot on my heels.

I really hope you guys like this chapter. I know it's the same and the same things happen but I did change it up a bit and made it from 3rd person to 1st
 
Also I'm sorry it's real short but I had to leave a cliffhanger for those who haven't read the old version 😉
