She kept falling to the ground. Like a leaf, but faster. Her heart was trembling, scared of dying. Her entire life flashed through her eyes. She kept thinking this wasn't her time. She wasn't ready to go. But then someone picked her up. Who was it? An angel?

When Cymberly woke up, Zayden was laying across from her, sleeping on the dirt floor. She blushed, remembering that it was his only bed; and he had taken the floor for her.

She watched him sleep peacefully, but then she noticed something weird on the back of his arm. When she tried to reach for it, he turned over, facing her.

"Good morning," he smiled,"how are you feeling?"

"My head hurts a little, but I'm alright," she answered,"what about you? I feel bad you took the floor for me."

"Don't really, it's fine," he smiled,"I actually sleep on the ground sometimes. It's good to switch it up. At least for me."

"I.. I wanted to know if you had a phone by any chance?" She said softly.

"I'm sorry, I do not. I prefer to live a simple life," he said.

"I can tell," she laughed,"I've never seen a house like this before honestly."

"Is that strange?" He frowned.

She shook her head," no it's not, I'm just not used to it. Don't know how to live like this. How do you even go to the bathroom?"

"Well, I can teach you all you need to know. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it," he replied.

"I'm asking cause I need to go, like really bad." Cymberly said.

"Ohh, ummm, the only thing we have is nature. So.." Zayden said awkwardly.

"Okay so you're telling me to go pee in a bush kind of thing?"

Zayden nodded,"that's the only option."

Cymberly slowly stood to her feet. Zayden grabbed her hand but she pushed it off.

"I can manage," she said firmly.

Zayden replied,"I know, but right now you're not healed yet. At least let me walk you outside. I promise I'll leave."

Cymberly nodded and allowed him to help her outside. You would think a city girl like her wouldn't take it lightly, but she used to go on camping trips when she was young and she's very familiar with doing her business outside. Of course, Zayden doesn't have to know that. She enjoys keeping him on his toes.

When she was finished she looked around and loved what she saw. Big blue waves splashed into the ground and as she took a few steps closer to the water Zayden held onto her.

"I really want to look at the water a little longer." Cymberly pleaded.

Zayden nodded and held her as they looked at the beautiful scene before them. A few moments later he picked her up by surprise and carried her to the house. Cymberly giggled.

"I'm going to get food I'll be back," He said.

"Can I come too?" Cymberly asked.

"You can barely walk, you need to rest." Zayden said.

She tried to get up, putting her left foot down first, and then the right. As she stood on her feet her right leg gave out and she almost fell, landing in Zayden's arms. Her heartbeat accelerated. They both paused for a moment before he put her back on the bed. Cymberly felt breathless as she waited.

This was the first time I felt this feeling.. she thought. Why is this happening now?

"Told you missy," he said,"I'll be back."
