This was the day that would change her life forever. Not because she went off to college. Not because she got married. Not because of something typical. No this, was for something far more interesting. Was it the right choice of her to make? I'll let you decide that.

As much as Cymberly hated heights, she agreed to go with her two best friends, Veronica and Kendra, to the mountains for a hike. They wanted to see The Great View. Rumors of a beautiful sunset and valley await the long journey to the top of the high mountains. Only few have made it to the top alive to tell about it. All claiming they've seen things unimaginable. Being that the young girls live close by, they were only curious to try it.

You're probably wondering why these young girls would even attempt something so reckless. Aren't we all?

Clouds began to form in the skies. Wind blew softly in the trees.

"Don't look down. Don't look down," Cymberly said as she followed, taking baby steps.

"We're almost there," smiled Kendra.

As they reached the top, they all sat down and looked at the beautiful sky before them.

"I've never seen anything like it." Kendra smiled.

"Let's take a picture to remember it," Cymberly held her phone above them as she took the pictures.

They looked at them in awe.

They sat there a few minutes looking at their surroundings.

Veronica replied,"it's like a dream."

"Yeah, like how you are about Victor?" Cymberly laughed.

Veronica blushed,"what?? No way.."

"We see the way you look at him in class." Kendra said.

Veronica's face turned red,"is it that obvious?"

"Kinda..." Kendra replied.

All girls laugh in unison.

Cymberly cleared her throat,"no seriously though, why don't you ask him out?"

Veronica frowned a bit, and thought for a couple seconds before replying,"what if he doesn't like me back?"

"The worst thing that can happen is he will tell you no." Kendra said.

"Yeah, at least by then you'll have your answer." Said Cymberly,"what's life without a little risk? Look where we are right now. Look at this place! It's amazing! If you have the guts to convince me to come on this crazy journey, asking a guy out shouldn't be more frightening than this."

Kendra laughed,"no, it might be even MORE frightening."

Cymberly rolled her eyes and laughed.

They settled down and noticed how the clouds became darker and the wind began to pick up faster speed.

"It looks like it'll rain, we should head out." Veronica insisted.

Lightening struck in the trees and the sound echoed in the sky.

"We seriously should go now!" Cymberly yelled.

Right before they could make a run for it, lightening struck the mountain and created a large gap trapping Cymberly in place.

"Cymberly!" They cried out.

The wind began to blow to a fast speed. Kendra grabbed onto a tree,"hold on!"

All three girls began to shout and scream. The wind went from 0-10 in a matter of minutes. They were beginning to lose grip. Cymberly was closest to the edge barely able to hold on. Kendra, standing behind a large tree reached for her friends. She was able to grab Veronica with her hands. Cymberly was still struggling for her life holding onto whatever she can.
