Ever since she touched his arm, he acted very tense. She didn't know how to approach him anymore.

When Zayden left to gather more supplies for the house, Cymberly decided it was time for her to try to go home. Things were getting awkward with Zayden and she didn't know what else to do.

She slowly stood to her feet, scared at first, she took one step without falling down. She smiled as she took another with barely any pain at all.

Now is the time before he gets back. She thought.

She opened the door and began her journey looking for a way out. As she continued walking down the hill of grass, she came to a complete stop and her mouth dropped wide open. She was on an island surrounded by ocean waters. Cymberly starts to look for a boat, when she hears a tiny giggle behind her. It was an unnatural sound. Something she never heard before. As she turned around to her surprise, it was a creature she had never seen before. It was in a shape of a small ball, small enough to fit inside your hands. It was covered with light pink fur; and had big blue eyes.

The creature put its head to the side, probably confused just like she was.

Cymberly was scared at first, not knowing what was looking at her; but then, she slowly reaches her hand out to it. It jumps towards her and Cymberly screams and yanks her hand back.

Cymberly ran back to the house and pretended like she saw nothing when Zayden came back.

When Zayden looked at her wound he said,"it's clearing up nicely. It shouldn't get infected."

"That's good. Does this mean I can go home?" Cymberly sighed.

"You want to leave already?" He frowned.

"You told me a couple days. It's been just that. I want to go now," Cymberly said.

Zayden tried to stay calm,"but it's still risky right now.."

Cymberly roller her eyes,"you keep saying that."

"Because it's true.."

Zayden sat next to her on the bed,"it's very risky."

"I need some answers Zayden. Why do you wish to keep me here?"

He held her face in his hands,"because I've never felt this way before. And.. you're right, this place gets lonely."

A tear fell from her eye.

Why am I crying? She thought.

"Please don't ask me to explain because I don't understand it myself.. I just know I enjoy your company; but if you really want to leave I can take you.."

He wiped the tear off and slowly kissed her forehead. Cymberly's heart pounded out of her chest again and she again couldn't understand why she easily fell for this guy.

"I..need to know why you saved me." She whispered.

"I saved you because I couldn't let something happen to you. When I saw you, it's like I saw a part of me.." Zayden sighed,"I probably sound crazy."

Cymberly couldn't stop looking into Zayden's eyes. She couldn't understand this fire that she felt inside her. As much as she tried to leave, he was still able to make her stay.

"I don't think it's crazy.. I like you too Zayden," she bit her lip.

Things were getting hot and she felt tingles in her stomach.

Zayden smiled slightly, leaning closer to her face. Cymberly laid still, blushing as he stared at her; and right then he slowly moved closer, almost lips touching. She closed her eyes expecting a kiss but instead he quickly moved back.
