-For Jenny,
Some things just weren't meant to be,
A lot like you and me.James's POV
James had recovered from his injuries in a few hours. Jenny had stopped holding his hand because things got awkward. The two got know each other better. James heard that Jenny had been dumped recently and was secretly happy because he liked her so far and was glad she had no boyfriend, or girlfriend.
It was also nice to see that Jenny was her own person and not sheep. She, just like James, loved Star Wars The Last Jedi and didn't jump on the hate wagon that other sexist YouTubers did. Jenny had a great smile too and despite being socially awkward and quirky was very caring and outgoing.
"Now that I'm back to full strength we should come up with a plan."
"That sounds good I can't stay here for two weeks. Also my phone is mysteriously dead so I can't call anyone." Jenny said to James.
"Yeah we need weapons and survival gear." Jamez watched a lot of zombie movies and knew how to handle monsters.
Jenny nodded and followed him out of the Think Geek Store.
Jenny's POV
Jenny liked James he was very nice and liked a lot of the things she did. It helped that she was in a life or death situation with him and that he looked out for her when she had to go out by herself to get supplies.
As Jenny walked out of the store with James she wondered of there really was anything scary or dangerous lurking around in the mall with them. She got lost in thought when she looked at James. He was tall, about six feet 8n height, and had a body like Bruce Lee or Tom Holland. His hair was a bit like Chris Evan's hair from the film Cellular which he said was his favorite movie. James definitely looked good and loved Star Wars which was a plus!
"Oops!" Jenny bumped right into James because she was lost in her thoughts. How embarassing she thought!
"Sorry dude just making sure you weren't a ghost!" Jenny said sarcastically.
James smiled and she noticed she was totally blushing. Then she played with her hair to hide it. Before she could say a thing though there was a terrible screeching noise that was low pitched but loud.
"Quick! Hide! James said as he wrapped his strong warm arms around her and hid behind a display in the Sporting Goods store they had been in front of.
James's POV
"Quick! Hide!" James needed to keep Jenny safe. It was her turn to save her now plus she had more people that cared about her and James didn't want those people to suffer her loss.
Loud and heavy footsteps came closer to the store him and Jenny were in. That's when he saw put of one of those mirrors the put on the ceiling what the thing was. It was an eel looking creature with legs that was the size of a small dog but its teeth and claws were razor sharp.
James held Jenny and kept his head down as he heard a group of the the monsters enter the store. They crawled all over and were getting closer James had to act! Jenny couldn't die or all her friends and family and fans would be heart broken.
That's when James saw it! There was some bullets in the hunting rifle section and he had a lighter! James took off his work shirt showing his modest bust strong arms as he was now in his plain white tee, and he balled up his shirt up and used his shoe lace to tie it into a ball.
Jenny was freaked out and confused. She looked worried that they would get caught but didn't make any noise. James set the shirt ball on fire and threw it across the store to the hunting rifles all the eels noticed and ran to the ball right before a mini explosion happened and sent burning sharapnel in the immediate area. They were dead.
The the double voice came back, "YOUyou BEATbeat MYmy MONSTERSmonsters TODAYtoday BUTbut SOONsoo Ii WILLwill HAVEhave Aa NEWnew CHALLENGEchallenge. FORfor NOWnow ILLill LETlet YOUyou TWOtwo RELAXrelax!"
Jenny sighed and and so did James. The truth was was that he was just as scared as she was. James and Jenny got up and picked out some weapons from the store.
James got a baseball bat for melee and took a machete as well. Jenny got a bow and a lot of arrows too. She took a knife for backup.
"Well you look pretty strong and badass" James complimented to Jenny. He was surprised though because Jenny grabbed his face and kissed his cheek with a smile.
"Thanks for saving me. I didn't think you could pull it off." She said sarcastically again, "Let's get some real food though." She walked away as James stood shocked pleasantly by what happened.
Jenny's POV
Jenny was so red in the face not was starting to like James a lot. She'd see if he was a chump or not once they got to eating at the food court though...
