Forever Home

118 4 3

The wind soars through the grayness of the sky
And although these gray skies may feel lonesome
Those aves still find enjoyment when they fly
From where I stand the water feels too numb
For no one could fulfill my emptiness
That I have kept inside for far too long
But when the sun comes up I feel less stress
Along with birds chirping their morning song
I look up and no longer see gray skies
Or the dark and unwelcoming woodland
But see blue skies that look like merry eyes
And even picture long walks on this sand
Thanks to nature I am forever home
Because not only can I seek but roam
