Gellert could hear the gentle breathing of Albus as his lover lied there beside him, asleep as the night. And his hair like fog in a graveyard seemingly levitated on the pillow, reflecting the glimmer of the summer moonlight streaming in from the single window in the bedroom.

Gellert wondered what Albus was dreaming about.
Is it a dream about him? Was it about the way they kiss each other— touch one another? Did Albus long for the contact of another boy as he slept comfortably amongst his knitted blankets? A comfortable stream of questions filled Gellert's head as he struggled to find his wand in the darkness of Albus' bedroom. Finally he found it on the dresser next to him.

"Lumos", Gellert whispered, watching a bright light suddenly shine from his wand.

Gellert scrambled to his knees and faced Albus. He was Antinous reincarnated—a head full of hair, a lofty brow, full lips—, Gellert was sure he was in the presence of a god. His skin, now covered in freckles thanks to the summer sun, shone a pale-tan shade beneath the light and his eyes lashes appeared extra longer and darker with his eyes closed.

Despite his death-like sleep, he never looked more vibrant; more alive.

Gellert bent down to kiss his lover on the lips. He hesitated, afraid he would cross the line by kissing him in such a vulnerable state. Especially with his lack of clothing from last night's bedroom frolicking.

Suddenly, Albus opened his eyes.
Instantly, he knew who was kissing him.

Gellert pulled away.

"I was just dreaming of you." Albus murmured.
