I Fell In Love With A Star

Chapter 2

Today is the day! I'm going to leave starville to go to planet earth. I'm a bit nervous because I don't know what will I see there, but I'm also excited to take this adventure!

It's almost a week after the ceremony, where I was declared as the 4th princess of the stars. I'm still in shock because I can't believe that I will be the next princess! Universia gives me a very cold glare every time we see each other. I don't really care actually, besides why is she mad? It's very clear that I am chosen. But I can't blame her either. If she was the one who is chosen I will envy her so much, but not be mad. If she deserves it, then she deserves it.

I was preparing myself for my party and farewell ceremony when somebody knocked on the gate.

"Come in!" I shouted.

The gate opened and I saw my mom in tears. I know she will miss me.

"I'm so proud of you sweetheart. Mommy will miss you." She said while crying. I'm going to miss her too, but I should do this because I am the chosen one.

"I will miss you too mom. Don't worry, I will take care of myself." I said to her while tears are flowing down my cheeks. I'm gonna miss my family, my home, my planet.

I am now at the venue where the party and farewell ceremony will begin. When I arrived, it was already pack with startizens. I was a bit scared because I don't know how to socialize with them. But I tried my best to greet them with a smile. My cheeks hurt a bit with all the smiling.

The party has begun. There was starfood, loud music, and dancing startizens. Come to think of it, I will miss this place so much. To see there faces glow so bright when they are happy. We are truly shining stars.

After 5 hours of partying, it's time to move onto to farewell ceremony. When the announcer called my name for my farewell speech, I hold in my tears, I don't want them to see that I'm going to be sad. But while I'm reciting my speech, I have up and tears flowed down on both my cheeks. But I still stood up straight and showed them that I can do it.

After my speech they opened the gate for me to travel to planet earth. I slowly walked to the gate and stopped when I was about to go out. I looked at them again and gave them a nod. They all clapped their hands and cheered. That gave me courage.

I stepped out and fell.

While I was falling I shined so bright. I could not express the feeling while I'm falling. I am speechless.

After a few minutes I already touched down to earth. So... this is grass. I examined the green spiky things underneath my feet. I also examined my surroundings and saw the beauty of the earth. There were big tall green things that are called 'trees' and there brown body which is called 'trunk'. I looked up in the sky, there were a lot of bright stars looking down on me, while the moon shines brightly.

I walked on my bare foot still in my shiny blue dress. But when I noticed something off about my skin. It is now peach colored! I looked at my hair and I was relieved that is was still dark blue. I continued walking when I saw a big thing called a 'house' this is where humans live. The house is made up of wood and there is a small window at the very top. I think that is the humans room. I examined the house when I heard a rustle in the bushes.

"Who's there!"t I shouted. My voice is shaking because I was so scared. I picked up a thin brown pointy thing and pointed it on the bush that was rustling.

I slowly approached the bush and looked if there is something there.

Suddenly a creature jumped out of the bush and hissed at me!

"Back off furry alien creature! I am armed!"

I warned the creature and it ran away. I did not know that creatures here can be scared that fast. In my planet you will be the one who is going to be scared at the starnimals there. Not them. They are beasts but some of them are friendly. I own a stardog and her name is Stella in short for 'constellation'

I still continued walking and holding the thin brown pointy thing. When I saw a small house, I looked inside it and no one was home. I got to the front gate and opened it. I thought they have those shiny things called 'keys' to open their gates.

When I got inside it has a starbed, a starchen, and a small star room. I was amazed that in the outside it looks so old, but on the inside is definitely clean. There is a saying that humans always say when someone judged another human,

"Never judge a book by its cover."

And it's true.

I'm now unpacking my stuff and organizing it. I also made a 'clock' that's what humans called it to see what time it is. I made it when I was still in starville. But I know I can't make anything here because I can't reach a star. I have to 'buy' things by using 'money'. Good thing I have accessories to sell them to the starcounter here. Maybe the huma starcounter can give me money.

After I organized and unpacked everything. I changed in my Star J's and plop on my starbed and snuggled in the soft blanket.

"I hope tomorrow will be a good start here on earth." I thought to myself before going to sleep.

Hey guys! So if you are wondering what is the what is the word 'startizens' it is a made up word I created. Star + Citizens= Startizens. 'Starnimals' was also a combination of Star and Animals. Well I put star in every word in their planet because... they are all stars there hehe. And also a 'door' in starville is called a 'gate'. You get my point. Good byee starlingss!
