I Fell In Love With A Star

Chapter 8

Jonathan's POV

Ugh! I just can't stand it. I really feel jealous, but why? Do I like her? No, that's nothing.

"Hey! Why did you do that!?" Galaxy shouted, she looks annoyed. When I looked at her she rolled her eyes at me.

"I-I don't know what came into me." I said in a shy tone. I don't know why and how.

"Great, I'm going back." She said and walked away, I did not stop her, maybe because Alex is the prince, and not me. Besides why would I be a prince? Her prince, if she does not like me. Yes she blushes but that's not enough to prove that she likes me.

I started walking around feeling lonely, when except the fact that I'm really alone is that, I thought Galaxy would choose me over Alex. But it was the other way around, and she looks mad at me.

While I was walking around, a blue butterfly with yellow spots landed on me. It reminded me of galaxy, her long wavy blue hair, her sunflower yellow eyes. I regret it that I felt jealous earlier. Like, why would be jealous. I sighed and continued walking. I saw galaxy and alex flirting with each other, yuck! I rolled my eyes and go somewhere else.

Galaxy's POV

I got back to alex and abandoned jonathan. What he had done earlier is not so cool.

"Oh, hey you are here again galaxy." He smiled and winked at me. AAHHH! My heart is pounding so fast that it wants to get out of my chest!

We talked and talked, it was great that I met alex.

While we are talking, I noticed something at the corner of my eye, it's jonathan, looking at us. Before I looked at him completely he just rolled his eyes and go somewhere.

Me and alex were having a good time to be honest, he is jolly and sweet hihi, but yeah it was all ruined because of Jonathan. Nice work jonathan.

Me and Jonathan walked home and we still haven't talked because I'm still mad at how Jonathan embarrassed me in front of Alex ARGHHH!

"Hey, are you hungry?" He asked me in a cold tone. I laughed at him and smiled, "Are you asking me?" He looked away and blushed, I just giggled, "Yes, I am hungry. Let's eat at you know where." I winked at him and I saw him smile again. We fight but we always make up when it comes to food.

Jonathan's POV

Me and Galaxy went to our favorite fast food chain and ate there. We laughed, we smiled, we share stories, we felt sad. It's great to be with here, I feel special when I'm with her.... My star. WAIT! WHAT WAS I THINKING?

"Are you ok Jonathan? You seemed to be thinking about something."

She asked and took a bite out of her burger, I smiled and said

"It's nothing dummy! Get back to eating you pig."

I smiled at her and she looked at me cold, I stood up and she started to chase me out of the resto. "PIG! PIG! PIG!" I shouted while laughing, she said "YOU ARE GONNA PAY YOU IDIOT!" We are just running like free teenagers, forgetting our problems, and not a care in the world. While running all I am thinking about is cherishing every moment with her, with Galaxy.

"Let's take a break!"

She stopped from running and I stopped too and got to her to make sure she is ok. "Are you o-" she then jumped at me and hugged me, "Gotcha!" and she smiled. The night light up like a thousand fireflies, my heart starting to beat so fast like it's going to pop out of my chest.

"You know Jonathan, I feel so happy that I met a friend like you."

She smiled, while I felt sad.... She thought of me as a 'friend'. I then looked at her and said,

"Galaxy... I have to tell you something.." I looked into her eyes and trying to gather all of my courage, "Yeah? What is it?" She said full of curiosity in her tone. "I lik-"

"Oh! Hey Alex!"

She said interrupting what I was going to say, DAMMIT, YOU BASTARD! DOES HE ALWAYS HAVE TO INTERRUPT ME WHEN I'M WITH GALAXY?!

I stared at him coldly, full of anger. I saw Galaxy... Her eyes are shining as if she saw a precious treasure. That's the first time I saw her looking at someone like that.... Someone that is not me.

She then got up and ran towards him excitedly, I felt sad and angry at the same time asking....

"Why is it not me that you like?" Then she shouted at me,

"Hey Jonathan! Me and Alex are gonna hang out. Is it ok to leave you here? Or you can come with us!"

She said and I told her, "I'm fine, don't worry about me. I'm gonna head home."

I faked a smile and she fell for it. She then nodded at me happily and got in Alex's car. I was crying all alone in the lake, I looked up the moon and started talking to it.

"Why is fate so harsh, I liked her first..." I balled my eyes out, I never been this hurt. It's like losing a loved one, but she is just there with another guy.

"Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight." I sighed and got up to head home.

I arrived at the house and immediately plopped in the bed. I felt so tired after crying, all I want is to just sleep and in the morning I will see her again, I will see my star I then brushed my teeth, changed my clothes and went straight to bed.....

Nevermind, I can't sleep! I don't know why even though I feel so exhausted. I thought of her again and how she is doing. I hope did not get into trouble, I smiled sadly. I then went to bed after that expecting that she will be back tomorrow morning.
