Jungkook walked through his apartment door, kicking his shoes off in the process. He made his way out into the living room as he tossed his keys onto the kitchen table. He found his best friend and their puppy curled up on the couch together, asleep.
He couldn't help the fond smile that appeared on his face. Jungkook looked toward the TV, to find that Finding Nemo was playing across the screen. He chuckled to himself.
Directing his attention back to Taehyung, Jungkook walked over quietly, though he knew he wouldn't wake the older.
He carefully picked up the sleeping boy bridal style, and quietly carried Taehyung to his room. He lay the older down, bringing the blankets to cover up his sleeping form.
He studied the other's face for a moment before smiling softly, and whispering to himself, "I pinky promised I'd be back. And I pinky promise to be here when you wake up."
He took Taehyung's pinky gently, and twisted theirs both together for a few seconds, and watched as a faint smile crossed the older's face.
