"Are-... Are you okay?"

Taehyung looked up, and smiled a small smile. "Sorry. I didn't imagine you'd ever like me back."

Jungkook laughed. "That's exactly how I felt."

Taehyung hummed in response.

The two boys sat in a somewhat awkward silence, unsure of what needed to be said. Taehyung fiddled with his fingers, while Jungkook kept his eyes scanning the room.

Before Jungkook spoke back up.

"Well, uh..." This is so awkward! "Can I ask you a question, Tae?"

Taehyung nodded.

"Do you..." Ahh! Just do it you coward! Jungkook let out a long breath, before looking up and making direct eye contact with Taehyung. "Can... Can I kiss you?"

Close enough.

Taehyung's eyes widened as he tried to give an answer. "I- uh..." He gulped, and nodded slowly. "Pinky promise you won't walk away as soon as I close my eyes!"

Jungkook laughed. "Yes, of course. I pinky promise."
