"Hey, Kookie?"

Jungkook looked up, giving Taehyung his undivided attention.

"Uhm..." He seemed quite nervous. "You... you know that thing you said about telling the person I like that I... like them?"

Jungkook nodded, curious.

Taehyung scratched nervously at his nape. "Yeah, well, I've been thinking about it a lot. And I've decided that... now is the time to do it."

Jungkook smiled. "So, what are you waiting for? Why are you here telling me all this?"

Taehyung fiddled with his fingers. "I just..." he trailed off, and looked up at his best friend. "Pinky promise me you won't get mad?"

Jungkook really wanted to say, how on earth could I ever get mad at you? But he instead just nodded, small smile etched on his face, as he took Taehyung's pinky.

"I pinky promise."
