"It was that kind of night. The night where things became strange. It was pitch black outside except for the occasional bolt of lightning. I was in an old shack where every floorboard creaked under the slightest bit of weight. Thankfully, I was in the old shack just off the village called Hogsmeade."
"Finally, I saw it. A small movement out of the corner of my eye alarmed my brain-" The boys snickered. "-as my head swiveled toward it. There was a small wolflike creature about the size of a 15 year old. It came closer and into the small amount of light. The moon revealed itself from the clouds. At this moment, I realized it was full. The creature reared up on its hind legs and bared its fangs letting out a fierce bark. Three other creatures were behind it in the shadows.
"I could just barely make out what they were. A howl rang through the air shattering all sound. Even the storm outside seemed to have stopped to listen. Another howl sounded. I carefully crept to the tattered window and peeked out into the darkness. With no sign of movement, I moved to the door and glided through. My heart was racing faster than it ever has" All the boys snickered at him although all the girls were listening with great interest. There appeared to be a few animals behind it. I wasn't to worried about them, I was more focused on the werewolf in front of me. I frightened a bird to try and distract it. Thankfully my plan worked-"
"It didn't work! It just confused me!" Remus whispered to James and Sirius.
"-and I ran-" Yet again the Boys all snickered uncontrollably. "-back to the castle to warn Dumbledore about the werewolf. When I entered the castle, I heard one more howl split the air...." There was silence in the room as well as faces of horror. "And that class, is why you should never go in the Shrieking Shack. There are also very violent spirits roaming the halls."
Severus was looking at James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus with a look of disgust like always.
"Any way look at the time! Class dismissed!" announced Professor Binns in his usual ghostly voice. Everyone filed out of the classroom chatting excitedly about how history was not nearly as boring as usual.
"We have got to do that again!" said Sirius excitedly.
"No! It's to risky!" Remus said angrily.
"C'mon. The only reason why we didn't stop you was because he's a Ghost!" said James.
"I know! What if it wasn't though! I could have turned them into a werewolf! I probably would get expelled for it!" Remus nearly shouted.
"Sshh!" Peter warned.
"Yeah, we better quiet down. We've attracted quite a few looks" whispered James glancing around.
"Hey James" Sirius said without taking his eyes off of something ahead of them.
"Yeah Padfoot" answered James curiously.
"Guess who I just spotted on his way outside" said Sirius.
James stopped in his tracks and stood on his toes scanning the crowd for one person. Finally he spotted a student with greasy black hair heading out the door.
"Ah, Snivellus" James said as a mischievous smile spread across his face.
"No you don't! You could get in Detention again!" Remus warned them.
James and Sirius thrust their school bags in Remus's arms and tore after Snape with their wands drawn. Peter and Remus exchanged glances and followed wondering what was going to happen.
