Stuck in a Love Triangle (COMPLETED)

Chapter 22

-NIALLS POV-

 i leaned in to kiss her, really not sure if she was going to kiss back. 

i was surprised when she was the one that leaned in faster placing her soft pink lips on mine. 

i hesitantly grabbed her waist and pulled her on top of me and she wrapped her legs around me. 

it was kind of awkward how we were in this position in the middle of a side walk, but i didnt care. kissing her was the only thing i wanted. 

I, again, hesitantly slid my tongue across her bottom lip asking for entrance.

she rejected it.

sadly, she pulled away. probably realizing what we were doing in plain sight.

"I..I dont know why i did that" she muttered as she climbed off my lap and stood up. 

i got up.

it was too good to be true..

"its okay Ash. it was just a kiss. no big deal." i lied

it was a big deal for me. i was in love with her.

"no, you dont understand. i have a date tonight. now i feel like a slut. and i could have ruined your image if someone saw us." she spoke

my heart sank. she had a date tonight?

with some other guy?

i really hope it wasnt harry..

"ash your not a slut! and i dont care if anyone saw us. i lo-" i cut my self off. 

was i really just going to say i loved her?

she gave me a weird look, but just nodded her head.

"we should go home, i need to get ready for my date.." 

jealousy hit me like a ton of brinks. i should be the one taking her on a date..

"sure thing,  lets get going then" i saw flatly, grabbing her bag and calling a taxi. 

-ASHELYS POV-

the cab ride home was strangely silent and awkward.

Niall just looked out his window with a glum look on his face.

ever since i told him about my date tonight he wasnt being himself.. 

however, i was kind of happy he apoloziged. and i hate to admit i really liked that kiss we shared.. even if it was short.

'Ashley quit talking about Niall, your going on a date with Jake tonight. and your going to have a good time with Jake because he's hot.' i thought to myself.

we reached the flat.

Niall payed the driver and opened the front door. 

"hey lads look who i found!" Niall cheered.

the three heads on the couch snapped around at the sound of Nialls voice.

"ASHLEY YOU'RE BACK!!!" Liam, Louis, and Zayn yelled getting up from the couch and running towards me tackling me with a hug.

"hey guys" i giggled as i managed to push the boys off me

"we missed you!"

"dont you ever leave us again!"

"it hasnt been the same without you around"

the three boys chorused, they pulled me over to the couch and i sat down with them around me.

i decided to tell them about my experience at the rehab center.

i let a few tears roll down my cheek but thats all.

i had done all my crying on Niall's shoulder and i was sure my tears had run dry.

i was glad to be back. i didnt realize how much i missed these boys. they had all grown on me.

Even Niall when he was hitting on me and being a pain in the ass.

and even Harry, being his cheeky self. which reminded me.. where is that curly hair lad?

"wheres harry?" i asked the boys.

i saw niall tense up in the corner. well, someone's jealous.

"he went to get some coffee but hasnt come back yet" Louis shrugged.

oh right, i saw him at the coffee shop when Jake and i were there.

he seemed pretty pissed off when he was i was there with some guy.

but then he left.

i thought he was going to come back home, where could he be?

i decided not to tell the boys i had seen him at the coffee shop. they didnt seem too concerned and i  wasnt happy with him barging in like that when Jake was there.

Jake.

oh shit i had to get ready for my date with Jake!

"sorry guys but i have to get ready for my date tonight. love you all see you later!" i yelled running up the stairs. Louis, LIam and Zayn waved good bye and continued playing mario kart.

Niall on the other hand got up from his seat on the counch and stopped outside to the back yard. jeez, what was his problem?

i got my phone out and saw Jake had texted me.

"sorry i rushed out on you like that. ill make up for it tonight ;) picking you up at 8. see you then babe xx"

i smiled but decided not to reply since it was already 6:30 and i still looked like a mess.

i jumped in the shower and scrubbed my hair with my Cinnamon scented shampoo. then i washed my body with some vanilla scented soap.

i jumped back out of the shower and wrapped my body in a  baby pink towel and walked towards my closet to see what i was going to wear.

i decided on a white dress that was tight at the top, and had a skirt that flared out from my waist down to my mid thigh. i paired it with some black platforms and my black clutch. 

i simply straightened my hair and applied some foundation, mascara, blush and nude lipstick. i sprayed some Victoria Secret perfume on and looked at the clock.

it was 7:30.

i still had half an hour so i decided to go downstairs and hang out with the boys until Jake came.

-JAKES POV-

"so i met this girl and her name is Ashley. you'll never know who shes best friends with" i said to my sister Nicole.

"who?" she asked curiously

"harry styles" i smirked

her jaw dropped.

she jumped up and down and hugged me.

"oh my gosh this is fantastic! you're getting me a date with Harry Styles!" she yelled "good. because ive set you with so many models and actresses and you havent had any hot boys for me" she said sticking her tongue out at me.

i chuckled. "you bet i am. im taking this Ashley chick on a date tonight. hopefully she'll like it so i can get close to Harry and then I can leave her because TRUST me she is so not date worthy.."

"have i ever told you i love this little plan we have?" she smiled at me

"all the time baby sis" i said and she hugged me

"well i have to go pick Ashley up. get ready for some Harry lovin' Nicki" i winked as i left through the door of our flat. she waved goodbye and i drove off.
