Determined [Malum fanfiction]

Prologue

Hi, I'm up with this new book called Determined. It's my first Malum, except the side story of Dissolute Devotion. 

I would like to say BIG THANK YOU to Danielle and credit her for the idea, because I absolutely love it. (Her tt @danieee08 and wattpad @toxikmichael, go and follow her!) I am really grateful that she gave it to me and I hope to make the best of it.

Okay, I don't want to reveal the plot much (just as like on my Muke book) but I promise the idea is awesome :) xx

Michael's POV

"Why me?" I groaned for myself in a low voice so our teacher wouldn't be able to hear me. This was my last lesson and it was boring. Not boring, like boring, but boring. The clock has stopped moving. Every minute felt like an hour and all I wished for was to go home, eat as much as possible and play games. Just have a casual afternoon. But no, I had to stay in here and listen to her high pitched voice, talking something about US history. I guess it was interesting but I could care less. So I just kept drawing little thing on my notebook. It was just small guitars, stars, Pokemon and music notes. The things that describe me.

"... and this will be half of your grade, so make sure you will work on it. We're starting tomorrow, so be prepared," I heard the teacher said and shifted a bit. Half of a grade and I don't even know what she was talking about.

I cleared my throat and whispered to my neighbour: "Uhm, Pete? What was she talking about? Some project or?" He smiled, assured that I wasn't paying attention, but I never do, so he's not surpised.

"Yes, it's uh a bit weird I guess. We'll going to a graveyard tomorrow. And we are supposed to pick one grave and find the story about the person. Like what were them like, how did they die... it's really weird, man. But the grade...," the end left unspoken but we both knew. This is gonna be so boring.

But that was the time I didn't know this will change my life. Drastically.
