Jesstra: Forevermore

Party

I was sitting at my laptop creating a group email to all of our friends. I made sure to include everyone, including Sarah. I hadn't seen her in a while. The email was mentioning a party of sorts we were throwing. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, I turned my head to look behind me to find Jess all dressed up in a beautiful red dress that hugged her figure, with red earrings to match, and with her hair tied up in a gorgeous messy bun. I felt my face go red. I turned back to send the group email and closed my laptop putting it to sleep. I got off the chair I was in and walked in the direction that Jess was in. "Wow... you look... wow." I said partially out of breath from how she looked.

"The guys aren't here yet I just sent it." I mentioned to her who replied quickly. "I know. I just thought we could go on a date night today." I answered immediately after I felt an idea pop into my head. "That's the best idea I've heard all day!" I said as I was heading up the stairs after giving the '1minute' gesture to Jess. I hurried into our room and dug deep into my closet to find my formal blue top to match my blue blazer I just found in the back of my closet. I put them on the bed still attached to the hangers. I tossed my phone on the bed it ricocheted off the pillow landed face down next to the pillow. I threw my pj top off onto the bed as well. I put on the formal blue top and then I swapped my pj pants with formal blue ones I found in a drawer, and put on the blazer. I put on a red tie and a red pocket square.

I put on black formal shoes and decided to head downstairs to meet Jess, I started to walk down the stairs but I slid and I managed to surf the stairs still on my feet. "Well that's quite the entry." She said trying not to laugh holding her mouth in her hand. "It's okay, go ahead and laugh." I said gesturing to the stairs. She then held her stomach, her body was shaking from her silent laughter that was begging to escape her mouth. The only sound I heard was the rapid switching of her exhalation and inhaling, alternating trying to breathe. "It was that funny wasn't it?" I said watching her fall over onto the floor from her laughter. She nodded curling over, I started laughing now too, maybe it was that funny.

About after two hours of laughter, we got off the floor and dusted ourselves off. I opened the door gesturing to the open doorway. She walked through it smiling. I followed her out and closed the door behind me. I turned to look at the house once more before walking down the short driveway. She linked arms with me when I caught up with her. She looked at me, and I looked at her. She smiled at me again, her smile melted my rough exterior like back at the Gynaecologist, and like it had years ago. I smiled back, as I did this I felt an overwhelming amount of love flow through me, I loved this feeling. I saw her soft being go even softer, she then got closer to me, holding my right arm with both of her arms and rested her head on my shoulder. We kept walking, all the way to a building that was entirely lit up. I noticed Jess's confused expression. I led her to the door. Little did she know what was behind the door. I opened it, and all of our friends were there.

"Guys What are you doing here?" She asked with the happiest voice I've heard. "We're here with a party!" Sasha said blowing a party favour that was in her mouth. "Petra told us you had an announcement worth a party, so we threw one and took the last minute transport." Lucas explained to Jess. "Let's party!" Sasha yelled and all of got in the excited mood.
