Hey, how are you all? I'm catching a cold 😞
Question; Where're you from? I'm from Illinois, about four hours from Chicago.

"Mike, I have a friend I want you to meet, this is Mac." Harry turned to me and smiled.
"Hi mac!" The little boy waved a hand at me, I waved back unsure of what to say.
"Uhm... Hello, there." I smiled nervously.
"Michael where are you? Your father told you to list-" a woman with black hair entered the room looking upset but the look quickly melted away when she spotted Harry on the couch. "Oh there you are, hello love." She spoke to Harry, she looked up to me and smiled. "Harry, who's this?" She asked. "Mom this is Mac, Mac this is my mom Anne." Harry motioned a hand to the woman.
"Hello.." I waved, she smiled. "Hello Mac." She smiled before turning to her son. "Harry I need Michael, I was getting ready to give him a bath when he decided he would run away." She said then walked to the little boy and picked him up. "M'kay mom." Harry said standing up and walking towards me, I looked to the floor.
"You um..have a little boy?" I asked then looked up into his green eyes. "Appears so.." He looked over his shoulder to the hallway where his mother had disappeared with the little boy. "How old are you?" I asked, maybe he is older than he looks. "What?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows. "How old are you? Cause to me you look nineteen, two years older than me." I said.
He looked down, shrugging his shoulders and shoving his hands in his pockets. "'M twenty." He answered, I simply nodded trying to process.
"How old is um..Mike?" I asked, he looked at me for a few moments before sighing and running a hand through his curls and fixing his bandanna.
"He turns four next week." I only nodded. "Look I understand if this is a lot to take in and stuff, but I don't want you to like...stop liking me because I have a child." he told me.
"Why would I stop liking you because you have a son?" I asked and he shrugged. "Its happened before with other girls." He said, he wouldn't look at me.
"Harry do I seem like other girls?" I asked, he didn't answer. "For heaven's sake, I'm the only girl on a hockey team so I'd like to think I'm pretty special." I reached out and stroked his arm, he looked up, his eyes glossed over.
"You're very special Mac, I'm just so freaked out." He said, I frowned. "How?" I asked, he sighed.
"I'm freaked out that someone I like won't except all of me including Michael, he's the most important thing to me and people don't like that." He spoke.
I watched him walk back to the couch and plop down, I shifted on my feet uncomfortable, I felt so out of my element.
"You can sit down Mac, I won't bite." Harry chuckled, I rolled my eyes before sitting next to him, only to fall into a silence.
"Tell me about Mikey.." I said, he looked at me and cocked an eyebrow. "What?" He asked, I rolled my eyes.
"Tell me about your son, Mikey." I said, he blinked a few times letting my words process.
"Well, um.. He's really into power rangers, his favorite is the red one. Um, he likes to sing along to the theme song of the Big Bang theory even if he doesn't know the words, he really loves to cuddle." Harry chuckled, getting caught up in talking about his son.
I sat in awe listening to Harry talk about him, you could tell how passionate he is about being a good parent to his son.
"Where's his mom?" I asked the question that automatically came to mind when I'd heard Mikey call Harry dad. Harry tensed up but loosened.
"She left, right after Mikey was born, she didn't want to be a mother so I raised him, still raising him." Harry said, folding his hands, I only nodded.
"I can't see why, he seems like a great kid." I said cautiously, Harry nodded before picking up my hand holding it in his, lacing our fingers together.
"He is a great kid, 'm trying to do my best for em'" Harry admitted absently while he played with my fingers.

Harry is a deep person if you sit back and listen to him, the way he sees things, his logical answer when I told him so was
"Parenthood changes people, you learn to grow up so you can care for this little being that's solely dependent on you and you alone."
I learned a lot about Harry, from about his son to this large teddy he sleeps with which is larger than his child.
I may have laughed and he may have scoffed and gave me a silent treatment until I threatened to leave and then he started acting like a twenty year old again.
"I had a nice time today." I told him after he parked outside of my house, Mikey sitting in his car seat in the back.
"'M glad, maybe we can do this again, but maybe on a day where we don't get sent home from practice." He snickered and I rolled my eyes.
"Maybe we can do this again, I'll see you later." I turned to open the door when Harry caught my shoulder and pulled me in for a short kiss.
"See ya later." He said huskily, causing all sorts of shivers to flow down my spine, I could only reply with an airy.
"See ya," before I climbed out of his car and collecting my bag before walking up the steps to my house feeling totally blissed out.
