I couldn't believe it, they had to be wrong, this test has to be wrong. "That can't be right." Harry muttered, his eyes filling with disbelief. I sat there in shock, this has to be wrong.

"I'm sorry Mr. Styles, but these scans correct, we've ran more than one on Miss Monroe." Dr. Kirby pointed back at the scan of my brain, pointing to the mass on the frontal lobe of my brain. It looked so daunting.

"Is...is it cancerous?" Harry half choked out, the doctor sighed. "It isn't, but it's going to be tricky to remove because of where it is. All the hockey and head injuries caused the tumor to form." That made me snap out of my funk. "So what does that mean?" I asked, Harry sat next to me and held my hand.

"That once the surgery is done in about a months time, you can't play hockey anymore." I felt my heart clench and tears fell from my eyes straight away. "Hockey is my life!" I sobbed out. Harry pulled me to his chest, and I just let go, I let myself cry and hug him because that's all I can do. "I'll give you some time." The doctor walked out of the room.

"Harry what am I gonna do?" I cried into his chest, he squeezed me tightly. "You're gonna survive this, we'll find something we can do together." He kissed my head as I cried. "Hockey is all I've ever done." I hiccuped, he pushed my hair away from my face. "I know, but this is how it has to be." He wiped my tears away, I shook my head and pulled my knees to my chest.

"C'mon, let's go back to the hotel." Harry helped me off of the table and wiped my eyes. "We'll do this together." He assured me and kissed my forehead. I grabbed his hand and we left the hospital together.

I finished packing my duffle bag and walked out of my hotel room. Harry and Hunter were waiting for me, Hunter to say goodbye and Harry to go home with me. "I'll miss you being on the ice." Hunter said, I could tell the news was just as hard on him as it was everyone. "Yeah well, I can still kick your butt in FIFA." I shrugged, he rolled his eyes before hugging me.

"I'll see ya later." I told Hunter. "Take care of her Harry." He said seriously, Harry nodded and grabbed my hand. "You know I will." Harry and I left Hunter in the hall and headed down to the lobby where coach and the rest of the team were waiting. "Well Mac, it hurts me to say I'm losing one of the best players I've ever had." Coach said, I mentally rolled my eyes. "Well there's nothing I can do." I shook his hand.

"Styles, see that she gets home safely yeah?" Coach grunted, Harry only nodded slightly. "C'mon Mac." Harry spoke lightly, wrapping an arm around my waist and leading me outside to a cab that we'd take to a bus station. "Mac!" I turned to see Louis running over to us. "What Tomlinson?" Harry growled, Louis put his hands up in surrender. "I just want to say, even though we've had our differences..." He sighed before sticking his hand out. "I want you to know I feel honored to have played hockey with you." I felt shocked so all I could do was shake his hand.

"Likewise Tomlinson." I spoke. "Have a safe trip home." He smiled before turning away and heading back into the hotel. "Pinch me Harry." I held my arm up, he looked at me incredulously. "What?" He asked. "I said pinch me I must be dreaming because Tomlinson said something nice for once." Harry laughed at my words before helping me into the cab.
