"life goes on, it gets so heavy"

Pretty girl who moved to New York POV:

I had to call my dad and ask which room was mine. He said to just pick whichever one I wanted except the master. Which only gave me two choices, so it wasn't that hard to choose.

I walk down the little hallway and picked the first room on the right for three reasons:
1. cause it was the second biggest
2. it was right there next to the kitchen
3. it has a window with a decent view

My brother and I had the same bed and bed frame so my dad already had the people bring up the beds.

I decide to make my bed since that's the only thing I could actually do.

While i'm doing that I think about the guy I met.

Peter. Peter. Okay remember that (y/n).

Well actually if you forget that would be a shocker.

I start to struggle with the fitted sheet.

I give up and kinda just sit on the bed.

I wonder if we would go to the same school? I would think so?

I don't know, New York schools work differently.

Wait how would I get to school? Taxi? Subway? Would my parents drive me?

Oh dear.

You should have gotten his number
(y/n).

Well actually I probably would have just embarrassed myself even more than I already have.

My thoughts get interrupted by by door flying open.

I jump and then realize who it is.

"DANIEL! What the heck, you scared the hell out of me."

"UGHHHH!!!! I wanted this roooooom!" He starts to whine.

"Snooze you lose." I shrug.

"Oh, well." He sighs.

"Soooooo (y/n)...."

"Soooooo Daniel...."

"Have you met our neighbor." He sends a wink at me and I get confused.

"You mean May." I chuckle.

"Nooooo stupid, the other one."

My mind goes blank.

Wait maybe Peter lives on this floor

Well duh, I mean why else would he be up here.

I make sure not to be quick so Daniel doesn't start annoying me with 'oOO pEtEr aNd y/N siTTiNg iN a tReE'

"ummmmm....I think he was the one who helped me with my luggage? So, maybe?"
