i honestly have two ideas for this chapter, but idk which one to do. so looks like you'll find out if i go through the more ~romantic~ route or the dRaMa route.

PETER'S POV:

we head back to our apartment complex.

"hm, i wonder what we could be doing here?" i say

"i don't know...you'll find out soon..." (y/n) shrugs and laughs

we get in the elevator and she hands me a blindfold.

i look at the blindfold in her hand.

"really."

"really." she assured me

"okay, whatever you say..."

on our way up i start to think

i really like (y/n). i feel like we know each other pretty well.

i feel like i can trust her with literally anything.

maybe i should use today to finally tell her my biggest secret.

what if i use today to tell her how i feel?

what if it ruins our friendship?!

what if she becomes afraid to hang out with me?

what if-

"okay we're here...when i say go you can take off your blindfold."

"okay...."

"okay ready....okay....go!"

i take off the blindfold and see we are on top of the roof.

she has a white sheet set up with a mini projector sitting on top of a box. there are blankets layer out and a bag of chips, fruit, and candy laid on top.

"i know, i know, it's SUPER cheesy but-"

"it's great." i smile at her.

"why thank you, i worked really hard on it." she smiles proudly

"how am i going to top this." i put my hands on my hips and smile at her

"simple. you don't." she winks at me.

"whatever you say missus majesty." i bow

"why thank you my kind sir." she courtesies.

"so what are we watching?"

"well i have...The Empire Strikes Back, E.T., The Princess Bride, The Proposal, The Lion King, Aladdin..."

"wow you just have a little bit of everything don't cha." i laugh

"well i didn't want to pick really cheesy rom-coms or movies you didn't like." she states back .

"i would have been happy if you brought up Mean Girls."

"aw that's too sweet." she acts overly touched.

"of course." i smile at her. "how about....E.T.? Haven't seen that one in a hot minute."

"sure!" she hooks everything up and takes a seat next to me. "here we go."

the movie starts to begin and i look over at her.

she's so focused on the movie and she just looks...wow.

her concentration breaks and catches me staring causing both of us to break out into a blush.
