[This chapter might be longer]
Hoseok made you change into every outfit he had thought suited you. He positioned himself in a leather chair across from the dressing room door and handed you a pile of dresses. Each one serving a different style and solid colors.
You awkwardly shuffled towards him after the first couple of dresses. His smug smile didn't appease your spirit at any rate. Every outfit had tightly hugged your figure bringing out the curves you obviously didn't enjoy. However, Hoseok was eying your hips as if they were his favorite thing about you.
You felt a burn to the resemblance of fire make its way up to your cheeks. It was at this moment you looked at Jung Hoseok and saw him as a man. He was attractive, composed and to be honest you felt a flutter in your stomach upon eying him.
He had one leg crossed over the other with his elbow supporting the base of his chin. He rose an eyebrow slowly when he noticed you stopped modeling for him to think.
"What happened?" A curious expression overcame his features and if you weren't mistaken, a hint of worry.
You shook your head. "Sorry. I- "
He held up a dismissive hand. "It's fine. I'll buy them all."
Your eyes widened in shock. Those dresses all together were more than your rent for two months...
"I- I can't except these."
"Go put on the lilac one you tried on earlier " The man ignored your protest and stood up, straightening his suit. "Hurry up. I'll purchase some heels too."
You quickly did what Hoseok instructed with a scowl. -_- He was telling you what to do. The dress was long and elegant. Perfect for where he planned on taking you. It contrasted with your skin tone slightly, yet the material was so soft.
By the time you exited the dressing room, Hoseok was by the counter talking to the young lady behind the counter. The way he stared at his nails indicated how uninterested he had been until he looked at you walking towards him with the dresses in hand.
"Finally."
You rolled your eyes at the unnecessary comment.
With little force, the dresses were taken from your hand. "Add those to the list."
"Wait." Your hand tugged on Hoseok's shirt, yet he still didn't do as much as glance at you responding with a simple. "Scan the one she's wearing too."
"Don't." You gave the cashier a threatening look.
Hoseok took out 2094579.09won, (equivalent to 1,800USD) and slid it to the lady with a smirk on his face. "You're expensive, Babygirl. Just quiet down for now." His hand snaked around your waist
You were stunned into silence with your entire face searing due to that familiar discernment of embarrassment. His hand stayed gripped by your waist, and you wanted nothing more than to rip his fucking fingers off of you. As handsome as he was, he was an arrogant dick. No other way to describe that man.
Once out of the shop, you shoved his arm away from you and stalked the opposite way he was guiding you.
"Where are you going?" He called after you.
"Home." You stomped through the streets passing all sorts of people. The wind had your hair and your dress flowing behind you, yet you didn't feel the effect of the chill because of the anger coursing through you.
"Wait- wai." Hoseok ran stepping in front of you. Using his figure, he didn't allow you to step further. "Why are you running away?"
"Why the fuck do you think? Was it fun for you? To command me back and forth, like I was some dress up doll to do as you please?" Your rant left you breathless.
"I'm sorry."
You stared at him, confusion visibly etched on your face. Absentmindedly, you chewed on your bottom lip unaware if his apology was genuine, then what he did next, startled you. He placed the bags down on the ground before lowering to his knees. You let out an inaudible gasp and watched as he lowered his head to the concrete floor, both hands supporting himself on the floor.
A formal Dogeza apology.
People stopped to stare at the man putting himself in such a vulnerable position. The apology wasn't even from Korea. You felt your body heat up for like the 100th time that day.
"Okay!" You shouted louder than necessary bending down and shoving Hoseok up to his feet. "Let's just go, yeah?" Your hand's picked up the shopping bag while he dusted the dirt off of his knees.
You looked down so the bystanders wouldn't see your face. When his car was in sight, you opened the door and climbed into the front seat desperately wanting the day to end already. Hoseok didn't say anything either until you both reached Sonyeondan's.
The restaurant is even more breathtaking in person then it was online. Pictures didn't really bring the place justice, and you wanted to compliment the architect. Your hand reached to open the door and Hoseok stopped you.
"Here." He held up the purple heels bought to match the dress you were wearing.
Biting the urge to comment rudely, you snatched the heels from his narrow fingers and slipped them on after removing your own. Stepping out of the car took some work. You must've looked like an absolute idiot.
Hoseok grabbed you once more but you pushed him off. "Don't touch me."
He didn't look surprised but backed off. "You look like you've never worn heels before." He walked forward to the restaurant and left you struggling in death shoes.
